I’ve had this place on my list to try for a while & I’ve been craving loco moco so we decided to go today. First of all, the staff is very, very nice & the service is top notch!

OH MY GOSH if I could give it 10 stars, I would! Honestly, for the decor alone, but the food is really amazing too. When you first walk in, it looks like there’s just a counter, but the wall on the left opens up into a tiki paradise! There’s even a waterfall back in here. There aren’t too many tables, though there is a bar with more seating.

This is a tiki lover’s delight! Amazing food that’s affordable and in big portions! Atmosphere is nearly spot on (They’re still fine tuning the joint), friendly staff and great service. A fun selection of themed frosty adult beverages, and even a kid’s plate.

Hidden gem. We’re obsessed. This place just has that magic. That “it” factor. Such kind staff, literally amazing food, the music is so vibey, and it’s just overall absolutely wonderful and leaves you SO happy. Cannot say enough!

Friendly, helpful staff. Great variety of menu choices. Tasty, fun tiki drinks. Island music soft enough to have a conversation across the table. Freeze dried garnishes on the drinks are a unique twist!

Where has this place been all my life! First off the owners are incredible. They care so much about their guests’ experiences. The tiki drinks are some of the best we have ever had. We had a tasting of the meats and it was genuinely one of the best Kailua pork, huli huli chicken, and pork belly we have ever had. It’s Hand smoked and made with love. The sauces are out of the world. Such a treat and a fabulous find!

We came in for a late dinner around 8pm, as we were in the area. and our daughter suggested it. Coming into the restaurant it appeared to be an order to go place, not the case, we were greeted by a extremely nice and informational server. She showed us the “secret” door that was the entrance to the dining room and bar area, amazing! We decided to sit in the bar, we were the only three in there, it was a really quiet setting with island music playing. The server who greeted us asked if it was our first time in, we replied “yes” and she went to the kitchen and brought all of us small samples of the meats they serve. This to me is huge when a restaurant does this, when you treat the guest this way , in my book, you’ve just made a regular. The samples were all great! Our server (did not catch her name) let us know the bartender would take our drink order and she would be back to take our food order. My wife and I split a wonderful island drink, we ordered our food and it came out at a good pace. I had the Plate Lunch w/Tiki Chicken, my wife had the Spam Moco, and our daughter tried a few side dishes; Musubi/Spicy Musubi/Garlic Furikake Fries. Everything was tasty adn delicious, on our way out we briefly met the owner and relayed our dinner comments to him and let him know we will definatley be back!

What a wonderful place to dine. The owners greeted us. We were seated promptly, and the Hawaiian theme ambiance feels special. The service from start to finish was great and the food is excellent! Meat is so tender and their pineapple upside down cake melted in my mouth. We were provided samples of 4 of their meats because it was our first time there. Such a warm and welcoming environment. Prices are fair and the food was so good! Run don’t walk to Da Tiki Hut! Good stuff! We’ll be back.

We tried a couple items and ate family style. First of all the dining room is super cute, did not expect that when we first walked in. Though bring a sweater because they ac was cranked up. Second our waitress was lovely and super helpful (we were on a tight schedule and she managed to make our meal feel leisurely while getting us out on time). Third the food was delicious, had a chicken dish, poke and a spam masubi. Beyond that 3 things what more do you need?

I have to say, this place is beyond what I expected. The food is excellent, their pork is tender, their sweet bbq chicken is perfect, and their dining booth is one of a kind; it makes you feel like you are in the Hawaii rainforest. Highly recommended, especially for those who love Hawaii!!
