Amazing food and service! We ordered the kalua pork plate, kalua pork and cabbage plate, chicken long rice, stir fried noodles, short ribs, and the beef stew. It was all delicious! I would highly recommend for local Hawaiian food!

This restaurant has been opened for a VERY, VERY long time. The food us always fresh abd so ONO ( DELICIOUS ). The decor and tables hasn’t changed since I was little but it always gives me a nostalgic feel when I stop by to eat there when we go home to Hawaii to visit. Lots of wonderful memories here. The Chicken Luau was so fabulous! The owner served us abd was so nice.

The food here was the best we had on O’ahu! Great portions and very flavourful.

The service here was above and beyond. It truly was amazing. In addition, the atmosphere was small-town with great vibes, looking at records of native artists on the walls. Their food flavors were delicious, and great for tasting Hawaiian food, but not all of it was up to my preference. Would still recommend.

This is the same location as the old and very popular Ono Hawaiian Food restaurant. The old owners retired in 2017. Some of their employees bought the business, remodeled the restaurant, and reopened in 2018. Prices are now somewhat higher (but still very reasonable). The combo meals are very large (easily enough food for 2 people) or you can order a few a la carte dishes to make your own combo (if your group is big enough to finish it). Food is very good, though my memory is not good enough to honestly compare with the old restaurant. Hour long waits for tables are no more, so the new place hasn’t really caught on with the locals. No parking lot, but we didn’t have trouble finding street parking when we arrived for an early dinner. This is also an easy walk or bus ride from Waikiki.

Wanted to get some authentic Hawaii food while visiting and oh boy did we hit the mark with this place. Absolutely amazing food, only regret is we only ate here once.
