My friend and I dined there for the first time… happy to support a Black-owned business… The owner/chef was extremely personable, friendly, wonderfully gracious and helpful. Even though it was close to closing time after a very busy day, he was still very warm & welcoming. The wait wasn’t long at all even though it was just him & everything we had was delicious! I don’t usually eat hotdogs but his were superb! The next time we vacation in the Poconos, we will definitely swing by D.W. Dawgs a few times!! Congratulations with your new spot! Great place, service & atmosphere!!

Ok, so here is a local place known for hot dogs, so of course we had to stop in…(I love a great hot dog) Upon entering we were greeted by the owner, Jermaine. We told him we came from out side of Philadelphia to try his place. He said for the chopped cheese?!? As I am 45 years young, I have never heard of such a thing. So now my interest is piqued‼️‼️

Well let me tell you if you have never had a Chopped Cheese sandwich before or if you missing them from the days of NYC then you better get to DW Dawgs and grab yourself one. I went here for lunch today and hearing about this place last week and WOW was it delicious. I had a chopped cheese sandwich and fries , hot dog with chili and cheese and a coke for lunch. The chopped cheese was by far one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time , the fries tasted like when I was a kid and everything was fried in Lard, which these weren’t Btw. The hot dogs are served with real chili with beans and the cheese was so good. If you were ever up in this area stop by say what’s up to Jermaine he is a great small business owner and show some support. I’ll be back again for sure as soon as the weather breaks.

First off this is definitely a place of good eats. Brought the fam in for some dawgs and cheese fries, when the kids end up wearing the food from stuffing their face, you know it’s good. The chopped cheese was off the hook. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back and try the cheese steak.

Awesome hot dogs like really taste good my 3 year old loved it. Passed by so many times glad we finally stopped in 4 hot dogs some with chili and cheese, french fries drinks all for about $20. We will definitely be back, maybe try the chopped cheese next time haven’t had a good one in a long time.

So delicious! I ordered a hot do with chilli, cheese and onions. So yummy. My son’s burger was super juicy and my mom chopped sandwich was impressive. First time visiting and we would definitely come back

In town from the west coast and found this place on Google. The hype in the reviews is real. I got a chili cheese dog and a nacho dog. It has been a long time since I had a REALLY good chili cheese dog and these were just that. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you find yourself nearby!

Finally made it to D.W. Dawgs and it was amazing!!! The Italian hot dog was delicious and filling! Can’t wait to go back and try all the other delicious looking items on the menu. The owner is so nice and friendly. Overall a great experience!

I ordered a nacho dog and chopped cheese fries through doordash. I enjoyed the nacho dog. The chopped cheese fries were a little bland. Since the hotdog was good and it’s indeed a hotdog place, I’ll be a returning customer. I’ll just try something different next time.
