Very nice Mexican food. We ordered several dishes to share amongst a group of 5 people. Everything tasted really nice and the special callout was the steak which came medium rare on a sizzling plate. It was yummy. Atmosphere is very modern with some modern English hip music and lighting was very modern hip too. Food was absolutely Mexican and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable too, giving us some good advice for a vegetarian dish. Highly recommend this place.

This is an amazing spot for some sit down Mexican food, the only problem with the menu is having too many good options I struggled to choose what I wanted to eat! I got steak and the potato, and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is pretty cool too with a nice decorative tree in the middle.

Fantastic Eastlake Mexican restaurant with some delicious yet lesser known menu items like tlayudas and chile en nogada. Atmosphere is very nice, love the tree in the center of the restaurant. The fortunately have parking behind the restaurant as parking can be a pain in Eastlake.

Beautiful decorations throughout the restaurant, including the bathroom! The queso fundido with chorizo and corn tortillas was really good! The personal table salsa and veggie bar they bring is a really nice touch. I hope it was just an off night, but the Carne en su jugo was super salty. We felt like we were sipping on salt water. Overall, though, this is a really fun restaurant. It’s small, so get there early or be prepared to wait. They don’t take reservations. I’ll definitely visit again.

The server recommended the D’la Santa Parrillada which comes with carne asada, pollo asada, short ribs some grilled vegetables and melted cheese and beans. This was underwhelming. All the meat was mostly dry, tough and overcooked, even the BBQ grilled corn was dry. You can even tell by the photos, look at that thin chicken breast which is 100% dry. The melted cheese was nice but once cooled became solid. Do not order this! On the other hand the other people around other tables had ordered the steaks and bone marrow which seemed a better choice. Disappointed.

Our first time here but won’t be the last. Service from the moment we stepped in was amazing! The food was amazing, fresh and included unique flavors that surprised and satiated the pallet. The margarita was on point as well! This is definitely a new regular spot for a night out! Popular and busy, but worth any wait they may have.

To start, the restaurant boasts a modern yet earthy ambiance with great lighting, making it a prime spot for those Instagram shots. The intimate atmosphere is heightened by the warm and welcoming staff. The real showstopper, however, was the food. It was simply scrumptious! You simply have to try the guac and queso starters. As for my entrée, I went for the Carne Asada which was packed with extras like sausage, beans, grilled cactus, and onions. While it may have been a bit pricey at $30 (for me personally), I thought it was well worth it and left me feeling thoroughly satisfied.

Amazing food! Amazing staff! So friendly and accommodating. My friends from Guadalajara took me here and they say the food is very authentic. I love the white Mexican rice…it has little pieces of corn and green scallions. The Queso Fundido with champiñones (mushrooms) is excellent…we order it with a side of flour tortillas.
