A while back a friend suggested D-Hou (Palm and Bullard) As we were driving home from running some errands I passed by and was reminded of her suggestion, so we stopped in for dinner. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We have a 9 month old baby that is eating solids and makes a mess. We are very aware of the mess he makes and do our best to prevent it and clean up after. The waitress immediately told us not to worry about the mess that she would take care of it! She talked to our little boy every time she came to the table and suggested meals for us to try since it was our first time. When our first dish came out she brought a special soup that she put together just for the baby with all things he could eat! She even put ice in the soup to cool it down for him! When our main dishes came out, she cut the noodles in bite size pieces for him and even fed him a little so that I could enjoy my meal with everyone else and not worry about feeding the baby! As a mother who never gets to eat with everyone else, I truly appreciated how she treated all of us and my baby! I felt like I was at a family members house. On top of the service the food was great with generous portions and a great price! This will be a regular dinner spot for us now. If you haven’t tried it, you should! Support a local business and the hard working families like this who care about their customers and go the extra mile to make sure you have a positive experience!

We were traveling through Fresno on our way to the west coast. We were driving around when we saw D’Hou and my dad said we could take a look at the menu to see what they’d have. When we went inside we were welcomed with great pleasure. Lynn, the owner, is an extreme sweet lady.

The food, ambiance and service is outstanding. The owner, Lynn always makes everyone feel warm and welcome almost like you’re having a home cooked meal invited into her home. The Mushu chicken is one of my favorites made with homemade crepes.

Great food. Have been coming here for years. She always remembers us and asks about our family. Food is great and fresh. All veggies are fresh, she buys and cuts them herself. Even when busy they try to be fast and attentive. Great for take out, and they also offer dine in.

I don’t know what happened. We got great food on Xmas but last Sunday we got inedible garbage. Shame on the cook. My 85 year old mom and I will never eat his food again.

Always great food from a long time established Chinese restaurant in Fresno. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Always consistent and very friendly. Everyone is treated like family here. Eat it here, or get take out. It’s always good.
