So, this is not a high end place and definitely goes with the location. The food is decent, the portion sizes are varied – the guacamole appetizer was definitely small for $10, the tacos portions were decent. Not all the food was very flavorful and there some hit and miss. The birria tacos and birria fries were good but the fish tacos had no flavor until we added some (extra charge) of pico. Service was below average.

3.5 Stars. The drinks were strong which was expected from a $25 margarita. I had the birria tacos and found them tasty but nothing special, the tortilla chips were great. We went on a slow Sunday afternoon and had no complaints about the service.

I went in to get seated and the waitress took my # and told me it will be a 30min wait. I come back in 30min and they said they cant anymore because 1. Some guy said we’re closed, mind you it’s 8:55pm up and 2. The waitress told me the kitchen is busy and I wouldn’t be able to eat until an hour after. I’m not coming back to this place again. Just wasted my time.

Definitely a hidden treasure in Passaic, NJ. We ordered 3 taco dishes (shrimp, al pastor, and carnitas) and one kids meal (chicken fingers with papas/fries and arroz amarillo). We also ordered their “Grande” margarita, pineapple Jarritos and Inca Kola. Juliana was a very good server and made us feel welcome on this first visit! We shall return!

Very disappointed with this spot. Customer service.. I waited an hour for chips that tasted OLD. Alcohol beverage didn’t even have alcohol in it. Flautas looked and tasted like coal & the birria has no flavor and the tortillas were expired. Everything was old. If you’re a taco person & love Mexican food, don’t get disappointed by coming here.

I just came back from this place a few hours ago. VERY DISAPPOINTED. There weren’t many people dining in and there was one waitress. Normally when you go to a restaurant, you would get your water and appetizers soon after…but not here. My friend and I asked for water with lemon and the waitress gave us water infused with lemon juice…40 minutes later (which we were eventually charged $3 for regular glass of water which should be free). Our appetizer didn’t come out until our entrees were ready…1 hour later. That whole time, it felt like the waitress was avoiding eye contact with me and cleaning up tables. I ordered the birria tacos which were good, but needed a little bit more seasoning on the beef. I wouldn’t even have gotten a box or my check did I hadn’t gone up to the waitress myself. I probably would have been waiting another hour for my check. SMH.

Have to say, the food and drinks over there were very good and well done. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for their service. Had to have been one of the worst I’ve experienced. Waited 15 minutes just to see a server and receive our menus. Waiter actually brought out the wrong appetizers for us and had to be corrected. Their lack of attention left us agitated and actually almost wanted to walk out. This was in the night however. Maybe their morning staff is better.
