This was a nice small town diner with a traditional menu, and possibly short staffed. I was taking a few days out of town and wanted to grab a quick breakfast at the diner. I’ll just say it was good food and a reasonable price, the service was decent, and the bathroom was clean. While I was eating I was joined by a ant or two on my creamer, wasn’t a big deal, but still it was ants.

Really great spot! Love the cheap eats but fair warning, the potatoes have bacon in them so vegetarians should ask for without or order another side.

What a perfect original diner! As soon as you walk in the door, you can see why the Cutchogue Diner is a Landmark for the town. The food is perfectly done, the portions are right, the staff is excellent… go and enjoy a wonderful dining experience!

The food is great, but some of the staff are so rude and unwelcoming. When me and my family ordered food, this waitress just rolled her eyes and sighed. Theres also a lot of ants, which I hate because I just dislike bugs in general. Basically, food = great, staff not so much.

Sat outside in a beautiful space and food was delicious and plentiful! You order inside, can sit inside or outside. They buzz you to let you know when to get your food. Nice experience.

Go here for breakfast whenever I visit my parents. The staff is so nice, the food is delicious and a fair price, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for breakfast in the area!

A step back in time to the 1940’s in a diner car, that’s what I remember them being called, and have a delightful breakfast or lunch. Really friendly staff. Food is very good. This place has a simple menu and do offer specials. Unlike the Greek diners of today with a menu that list over a hundred choices, this place has a small menu. Try their pancakes, omelettes and great tasting coffee. A historic site on the Nort Fork.

This diner taught me what a hamburger really was, and made me cry in the same visit. Probably 1961, my mother read me the menu, offering me my usual, a hamburger sandwich. To my young mind – as I had learned in the Cutchogue Diner in the first place – a hamburger was beef, and a pickle, on a bun. I sure didn’t see the point in putting that in a sandwich, and I took a stance, like a four year-old can: just a hamburger, no sandwich! Yes, I cried when my plate held a naked brown patty with no bun. Yes, a bun came quickly and yes, they were wonderful about the whole thing, so FIVE STARS!

Great start for wine adventure central to all places on north fork… looks frozen in time inside and out with decent food and a local crowd… over 30 years and never disappointed
