We always eat here every time we’re in the area. (The last time was 7 years ago, I guess a lot has changed). You can not eat inside anymore, I guess they never reopened after COVID. They do have a weiner hut but we opted to take our food for a picnic at Constitution Park instead. Disappointed they didn’t have the Cherry Smash, it was my absolute favorite soda (discontinued by the distributor). The hotdog was fine . I ordered mustard didn’t see or taste any under the chili. The real bummer was the hamburger I also ordered. I couldn’t even finish it. I still have 4* for the affordability and nostalgia but not as good as I remembered

Great place to stop for a quick bite. The famous dog with chili sauce, onions, and brown mustard hits the spot. If you’re hungry, get two with an order of fries and a flavored Coke (I got vanilla). Gino, the owner, takes your order at the window. He is quite the character! Great conversationalist. You can tell he’s been running this place for a long time. Be aware, there is major construction going on in the area, so it may take you a couple trips around the block to find the place. There are many places to park nearby. The people we met while waiting were very friendly. Lots of regulars stop here. Gino runs a great place. Will add this to my must stop list when in the area! FYI- if you order a chicken dog, be advised it will take several minutes longer for your order to be ready than a regular dog.

A lovely no-frills, no nonsense, well run hot dog place with some of the tastiest coney dogs outside of New York. The prices can’t be beat – though you had better come with cash. Be sure to order extra onions, your mouth will thank you.

What a great spot! I was searching for takeout in Cumberland since my husband and I were traveling with 2 dogs and Curtis’s was recommended. We are so happy we stopped! We got 4 hot dogs, 2 fries, and 2 drinks for just $19, so it was a cheap dinner, too. All the food was delicious! The staff was so nice, too! Cash only, and we had left ours in the car but they let us eat first then run back to grab it. We’ll definitely be back if we’re passing through the area!

Fantastic hot dogs and french fries. Their hot dogs are VERY good. I personally got the chili onion dogs and they were very good. The french fries have consistently been crispy and hot. If you’re in Cumberland I’d say the visit is well worth your time and money. Quick service too!

Gino is the man! Very friendly staff, and you will not be disappointed by any means. Closest thing to New York Coney Island Hot Dogs without the drive.

It doesn’t get any better than this place! Staff were remarkably friendly. The food was so good that we each ordered another hotdog just to savor the flavors longer. Simple but delicious! Cash Only.

Loved it! Weiner with everything is the way to go. Buns were tender and fresh, fries crisp and salty. Staff was fantastic. Helpful for every tourist and knew every local.

What can I say, it’s a local favorite and definitely an experience! Get yourself 2 “with” and a chocolate Ricky and enjoy a Cumberland memory. At the time of this review they are still only doing window service due to Covid, but they do have plenty of outdoor covered seating.

I was doing a night walk around Cumberland and noticed signs saying this place has sold hot dogs for over 100 years. That got my attention. I went back to Cumberland the following afternoon to walk around during the day and eat. What better place than an old hot dog shop? I ordered through the window facing the sidewalk and couldn’t be happier. I ended up eating 4 with mustard, onions and their Coney Island sauce. I talked to the owner briefly through the window, he said he’s 3rd generation of hot dogs. Keep up the great work sir, I’ll be back anytime I’m in your area around lunch time.
