I always enjoy coming here. The food is always hot and tasty. Do know up front that when it’s busy, service may be a little slower as it is just the chef running things usually. But he’s always attentive and thoughtful regardless. If you want some good comfort food, come here!

Great little place, clean and super staff. Stayed late just for me. Limited free parking in the back, loads of paid parking in the back, on street is dicey. Food taste great and it’s definitely Hawaiian Japanese flavors. 5 stars for no styrene package.

I loved the curry here. The flavor was awesome and they gave you plenty of the curry so you had some at every bite. We also had the fries with curry which was super good. Service was nice and quick. The spot is clean and comfortable. I also got to enjoy the half Thai Tea half Thai Coffee.

Asian fusion that’s hard to beat. I had the Okinawa taco rice and it was amazing! It’s basically a taco on a plate. The one I ordered had Hawaiian pork and was delicious! Chef Wongie is a nice guy that makes great food. Be sure to stop by and try some amazing dishes.

This place makes you want to like it. Inspired fusion options, and a funky flair that makes it seem like s hip place to try. Sadly, it’s all the worst cliches of a hole in the wall restaurant. The chef personally serves the guests with a reverence for the food he has made. Unfortunately, he misses all the details, especially the ones that matter most. The cheese fries were stale, but the Korean beef on top saved it. The paper used underneath it, and for my burger, frustratingly melts upon contact with the grease of the food it is served in. The condiments were so old, it scares one to use them. The ramen burger was made with flavorless soggy noodles, and the burger patty was the only thing that tasted decent, though no better than a backyard bbq. I feel this place could’ve been great had the chef only put in the effort to make it so. I even spent 10 minutes trying to coex him out of the kitchen so I could get a bill to pay. He ignored me, so I left my best guess as to what I owed based on my memory of the menu. I really tried to give this place every opportunity, but it deserves to fail if things don’t change. I think it should be shuttered for health code violations.

I just tried this place earlier today on my lunch break and ordered food to go (since I was working) so I didn’t do the dine in experience here, but the food was absolutely fantastic and the gentleman working there today was very polite! I’ll definitely be ordering here again!

See like, here’s the thing. If you haven’t eaten here yet you’re doing yourself a massive disservice. Sushi and Thai food cover Ventura Blvd like sprinkles on a soft serve cone. But there’s only ONE place you can get incredible Japanese curry and Korean fried chicken wings done right. Don’t waste your time getting soggy tempura shrimp and another mediocre California roll when you could be eating this. The chef is cool. Did I mention everything is amazing? Also he has an original NES to play while you wait so…why are you still reading this? Go now!

The food itself is good. Dinner started off with salads that had a good mix of veggies and dressing. We ordered cheesy curry fries with bulgogi and it was very tasty. Not too cheesy or too much curry.

Just pull over and treat yourself to really delicious food, already! The restaurant is small, but it’s perfect for you and a group of friends. The atmosphere is simple and the music is so great. I ordered the kalua pork mild curry and udon. SO SO GOOD! Please don’t be fooled by how it looks on the outside, because this tiny place is a perfect retreat from loud and crowded mainstream restaurants. Please stay open for a really long time, Curry Up!
