My first time here and I must say it was absolutely AMAZING! My dear friend and I decided to try traditional Indian Food and was able to find this restaurant, since it’s closer to me. We arrived and we were the first customers there, a kind man seated us and ask if we can wake a couple of minutes, since they were setting up the buffet THERE WAS A BUFFET!! I was not expecting that. My friend and I chose to eat from the menu and we ordered a good amount of food. Everything was delicious. I’m more than happy with the food and the attentiveness of the waiter and the owner. (I believe he was) All I can say is go for yourself and try it.

So i went there for lunch buffet, it was very bad. I saw owner’s post on nextdoor it is 12-3pm nobody was there i had to find someone very far and ask if they are open. It was 12:16pm still nothing was there and nobody was there. Also no AC. So silent and dark. I had to ask if they can turn on the light. About 12:30pm they were ready literally we are the only customer. Chickens were dried out i dont know how many days they were there it cant possibly be like this if they cook fresh. See photo. I couldnt chew. I had some Indian lunch buffet in the other areas this one was the worst. Based on the review i expected more but i am going to remove my “wants to go list”.

Fantastic Indian place in Harrison. Such a great value Lunch buffet. I dined in person a month ago and today got takeout. Much more food than I could eat and everything was yummy. Suggest going after 12:30 since they sometimes have a slight delay in opening.

So we are newbies to Indian food but the staff was great with explaining the dishes etc…. Loved the Samosas, both the chicken and the veggie ones. Tikki masala was delicious. Lorraine at the bar is a riot. Kept us up on our drinks while providing some humorous quips.

Great food for pickup; may take a little extra for the food to get ready on busy nights but this is the best Indian food I’ve had in all of Westchester, very price competitive, and holds its own against NYC restaurants too. The vibe of the restaurant is spacious yet intimate; a great bar area and adjacent restaurant seating area — worth going back sometime when things are back to normal!

I love this place! I used to get Indian from a popular place in Mamaroneck but the food was inconsistent, good only certain days of the week.

Curry on Purdy is a hidden gem of 5 star food hidden in a pub in Harrison. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was good and the staff was attentive. The vegan/veggie dishes were outstanding, flavorful, spicy and good sized portions. So many options. The garlic naan was great too. We had the vegetable Vindaloo, the spicy eggplant and a cauliflower dish all with rice. Highly recommend! Will be going back regularly.

By far the best Indian restaurant in the Harrison/Mamaroneck/Larchmont area. I like it better than some of my go-to Indian spots in the City. They do all the standards well but also have unique dishes on the lunch buffet and the dinner menu that I’ve never had before. My vegan and vegetarian riends lappreciate the delicious options for them. And it’s just the right level of spicy! Go and bring your friends, too!
