Don’t judge the book by it’s cover. From the outside appearance, one wouldn’t think twice about going inside…if picky like me. I’m glad we stayed. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. I can their teams makes an effort at cleanliness. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive!

Because of the reviews, my wife and I had lunch here on a Saturday. Service was quite good with very friendly staff. We ordered soup, chicken Manchurian, tandoori roti, veggie Momos and samosa Chaat. Most Food was good and tasty. I would have given 5 stars. But the chicken Manchurian was made with minced chicken, may be fried chicken meatballs, which was pretty tasteless by itself, sauce was fine. I couldn’t say if it was chicken or something else.

Warning: take out only! You can’t dine here. Didn’t know that walking in. Aside from that, food is amazing and they give HUGE servings. Lasted a few meals for us. Samosas some of the best I have. I like the spice level from 1-10…we had our tikka masala and the lamb biryani at 4 and I would say it’s spot on. Would come here again!

Had the CG Special Dum Biryani and it’s hands down the best biryani Ive ever had and had to be top 5 dish of the year. I got spice level 6 but next time I’ll probably do a 5 even though It wasn’t too spicy it’s just a dish I would like to indulge in.

When I moved to Charlotte, I could not find my favorite Indian food spot. Once I tried Curry Gate, I was so thrilled to finally have a favorite. They are super friendly and the food is delicious. This is mostly a carry out restaurant, with four tables inside. I like to get it to go and take it across the street to Camp North End. Even in cold weather, I don’t mind. I have my favorites, dal, bindi masala, butter chicken, chana masala, samosa chaat. They have an expansive menu, so you can try something different every visit.

Delicious. I placed a doordash order and everything from the spice level to the flavor was amazing. The portions were big and there were plenty of leftovers. I got the chicken dum biryani and the chicken 65. I’m always on the fence on whether or not I should get extra raita, and I’m glad I did. So good. Would order again from here if im in the area.
