We were recently in Savannah over Memorial Day Weekend and were having a difficult time finding a reservation for our part of eight…thankfully, we found Current Kitchen. This restaurant is about a 15 – 20 minute ride, but well worth it!! We arrived and were seated promptly…our server was Colt, very knowledgeable about all the menu items and very friendly. We started off with some appetizers, several sushi rolls which were very good and calamari!! The entrees were equally as good…I had the Fiery Chili Garlic low country boil…contained shrimp, crayfish, sausage, corn on the cob in a phenomenal broth. Others had risotto dishes, the lamb chop special, snapper and sea bass…everyone cleaned their plates. We saved room for dessert and were equally pleased…key lime cake, tuxedo bomb ganache and pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. When in Savannah…make sure you add this to your list of restaurants!!!

Bartender, Cam, I believe (if I got the name wrong I apologize) did a phenomenal job. Food was fast, full of flavour, and the only opportunity for improvement I see is that the creme brulee cheesecake was more of a caramel cheesecake, without the traditional “Cambridge burnt cream” crunchy top. Flavour was great and I’d order it again but not technically a burnt cream.

Start with the Turmeric Mussels and you’ll thank me; they were unbelievable! The sea bass with risotto was delicious and the calamari was cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic. Ryker was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and the support team was engaging and kind.

Beyond expectations! I live out of town and return to visit family. I have been hearing about this restaurant for a few years so when it closed I was sad I never took the time to go. It has now reopened so I made plans to have a meal here on my next visit. I am so glad that I did!!

Moderately upscale restaurant with moderately upscale prices, but well worth it if you’re looking for a nice place to unwind and dine. The patio area has swings and a fire pit you can sit at, nestled in the trees and greenery. Loved the cozy ambiance. Food came fast and was delicious. Staff is super friendly. A hidden gem on the outskirts of Savannah.

OMG!! Food is amazing. If you’ve ever been to Madame butterflies or chives, it’s very similar (phenomenal) but here’s a little bit more price friendly. Awesome service the vibe is nice the location is really tucked off and I love that. I had a few drinks the bartenders were awesome with their recommendations. I will be back!!!

What a beautiful spot! Off in the cut, and very welcoming group of hospitable people. Calamari was on point. I had the scallops which were delicious, very generous. The tastes were incredible. The risotto was perfect and layered with flavors. Mr Ashton took care of us and he did a fabulous job. Such a wonderful little find and we will be back!

Unique menu, something for every taste. The specials always sound great. The seared tuna salad is a great little starter. The service is incredible. You may not need reservations if you get there early but it gets busy. If you’re looking for upscale dining it’s the best in the area.
