My fiancé and I started off with the truffle artichoke and spinach dip, which was heavenly! We then had the pork chop and New York strip. Very delicious! My drink was the new fashioned and hers was a grapefruit mule. Both excellent. Server was very kind and attentive. Will be back!

Went for a quick dinner and sat at the bar with Hannah tending bar and as our server. She was friendly and attentive to everyone at the bar while still making drinks for the whole restaurant. I had the lobster bisque which was amazing – large chunks of meat artfully placed on top and well seasoned. My partner had the French Onion soup which she let me try and it was also amazing. We went straight to dessert from there and split the lemon basil creme brulee and New York cheesecake with blueberry compote which were also delicious. I would definitely go back again.

Intimate, delicious local restaurant run by all-star Chef Julie who truly loves cuisine. We started with the must-have lobster bisque and French onion soup, which were both delicious. My entree was the lamb shank, accompanied by several of Cure’s inventive and delicious cocktails. I recommend patio seating if possible for a comfy outdoor dinner!

My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant by pure chance and we are SO happy we did. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything from the ambiance to the service and presentation of the food has been impeccable.

First time trying this place, but have heard about it for quite some time! So glad we did! The moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm welcome, the feel is calm and cozy, but the food is bright and full of flavor! We started with the blues cheese stuffed dates and they were heaven! The French onion soup was good, but had a slight scorched flavor, still better than most we have tried. I had a chicken dish and my husband had the NY steak. Both were cooked perfectly, had tons of flavor, and all the sides that accompanied both fit nicely! We each had martinis, which were very well made as well! Excited to go again the next time we’re in Portsmouth!

I am feeling some type of way about this food. Steak: bombastic. Salmon: scrumptious. Cornbread: exquisite. Everything was so good. I was particularly impressed with the steak and cornbread. You can tell from the photo that they nailed the medium-rare, only way a steak should be. Can’t wait to come back. Cheesecake was a fantastic ending

Great atmosphere for a nice quiet dinner and cocktail. Food was amazing and cooked to the exact temperature asked for. The Salmon dip was a great choice for an appetizer. Kudos to the owner/ chef. everything was spot on. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat in Portsmouth

I went here during restaurant week in Portsmouth and got and app, entree and dessert. The pork belly was incredible and cooked perfectly. For my entree I got the flat iron steak and it was nicely cooked and the sauce was a nice touch. The dessert strawberry cream pie was delicious. The prices are a little higher compared to other places in Portsmouth, but its definitely worth it. The environment and atmosphere is warm and welcoming while still having a formal feel.

If I could give another star, I would. This is an excellent restaurant in Portsmouth and we highly recommend it. My wife had the short ribs, I ordered the duck and both were top notch. Our server, Brian was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and added to the experience. I’m sure there are other fine restaurants in town, but can they beat Cure?
