Was so excited to come here since I grew up eating Cupids in SF Valley. Sadly they aren’t the same on a few levels. First, price is insane. 7.00 for a chili dog? No soda fountain either. Only bottles. Wow. I know it’s not the 90’s but dang! Second, parking sucks. It’s in Downtown Fullerton and it’s just not convenient to pop in for a dog. Needs a better location. Third, it took FOREVER to get my food. One other group of four guys ahead of me and it took them 15 min to get my order of a chili dog and chili fries. No reason for that. Atmosphere is whatever. It’s a big white box with some basic tables. That’s fine.

I’ve been lamenting that there’s no longer any place to get an good old fashioned hot dog. Then I saw this place on a list about the best hotdog restaurant in OC. Did not disappoint! Dogs are snappy and juicy. Love it!

My husband & I used to go to Cupid’s in the valley before we got married (many years ago). Every once in a while we’d talk about the snap in the hot dogs & how we miss it. So many good memories. On a whim I googled Cupid’s to see if by chance they had branched out. Lo & behold there’s one in Fullerton. Now we visit about once a week. The owner & employees are super kind as well. These are the best chili dogs ever!

I’m a huge HotDog fan. This one’s not going to make it on my list. I’m better off going to Costco for a bigger one. In terms of chili on a dog, I’d go to Seven Eleven and make my own. Unfortunately, for the price and the taste, it doesn’t cut it for me. Just my own opinion.

I tried the Cupid dog and it was not bad. Price was on par. -1 star because of the mix up with my order but other that that, pretty good experience.

I’ve heard about this place from a friend so I tried it for my first time Sunday morning. I ordered two Cupid hotdogs. They were very helpful explaining the different types of hot dogs they have with prices and Ingredients. The quality is good it reminds me of your back yard style hot dog which I absolutely love. Simple but well made and delicious
