Breakfast straight from Grandma’s kitchen is what this felt like! Everything was extremely fresh, seasoned to the T, and came out super fast. Wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable about all the food. It’s definitely a must when visiting McMinnville!

This is a storefront on main street. There is no charge for parking and the townscape is a great experience. I got the O.D.s country breakfast. This included 2 eggs (suited to you), country fried potatoes, choice of meat…I opted for sausage, biscuits and gravy or grits. He ordered eggs Benedict with English muffin and 2 crab cakes, his option was grits. We loved our meals and shared a taste with each other. I had requested eggs over medium but when they came the whites were still slightly liquid. The potatoes were just right as far as seasoning, serving size and tenderness. The sausage at this place is very fresh and very tasty. There were 2whole biscuits that were the best I’ve ever had. They were slightly risen and not doughy at all. I only needed one so I took the other home for later. The gravy was very good too. His meal was cooked perfectly with amazingly flavored crab cakes on a fresh English muffin. He requested a small side of spinach leaves to compliment. His grits were cooked well and more than he could eat. He loved the coffee so much he bought a pound to take home. Our service was quick and friendly and not intrusive. This place is now going to be one of our favorites. If you try it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Comfortable space to sit(average). Waitress was attending several tables at once which limited her attention to any one table. Food was disappointing. Fried chicken was so overcooked and so hard that I could not eat it. This would have been obvious to the cook. Mash potatoes did not appear or taste fresh. Pimento spread was good. Fried potatoes sent with sandwiches were breakfast style seasoned potatoes. Biscuit was good. Hits but too many misses this day.

The omelet looked like they had trouble flipping it closed, but it was delicious. Coffee was good, but no real creamer, just those little half and half containers that always taste fake to me. The service was very good.

Interesting menu and the restaurant has a great location on an idealistic main street. I went with a fairly traditional breakfast. The fried potatoes were flavorful, the bacon was good quality. The biscuits had good texture and the sausage gravy was delicious. I regret not taking a bite of the biscuit before I slathered it with gravy so I could do a proper biscuit assessment.

My spouse and I dined here on Mothers’ Day with my family. We contacted the restaurant via Facebook the night before Mother’s Day to ensure that they were going to be open. Surprisingly, they responded quickly and confirmed that they would be open. It is always nice to be able to reach a representative of a business and get a rapid response (especially after hours). Kudos to them for this!

First off, the biscuits are good, not love changing but pretty good. The gravy however was terrible! Someone does not know how to cook a roux. It tasted of raw flour. The food definitely needs seasoning. I had bacon and eggs. Not a lick of seasoning to be found on those eggs. We left fully disappointed.

Filled with historic decor. Good sized portions, great friendly service, great food. Theyboffer their coffee for purchase to take home and brew and also have coffee mugs to purchase. Will be stopping here again when passing thru.

Hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve had ever. I would highly recommend that every local and out of towner stop by and try the menu! Service was great and the staff was friendly! Eggs were cooked perfectly & the home fry’s are amazing! Do yourself the favor and wait however long it may be that day. Will visit when I am in town again!
