It’s been awhile since I’ve been here and unfortunately the service hasn’t improved, after placing our order the waitress was absent most of the night althrough the crowd was not that large…. shockingly there was not drink menu and since I’m not a bartender we were left to order a few soso margaritas… This is a live band venue but the sound level from the band made it nearly impossible to have a conversation, it can be turned down ti match the crowd size.

This is definitely a top tier restuarant that gives you downtown vibes without the downtown pricing or the hassle of finding parking! The service was amazing from the moment we stepped in the door all the way up until we walked out of the door! We came out for the brunch, we had reservations for 2pm and though our reservations stated we were only allotted a 2 hour time period we did not leave until almost 6pm! Everything was amazing! There were no complaints from either of my friends. We got the bottomless mimosa’s and oir server Rae made sure we never made it to the bottom! She made sure she kept our glasses full and they were not stingy with the liquor at all (I almost had to call my husband to come pick me up, lol). Everything about this place was amazing and made you feel at home like you were just kicking it with your family. We met one of the owners Ms. Sherree and she was amazing she came over and took pics for us and with us. I will certainly be back. I have already referred/recommended this place to some friends and coworkers.

I was really excited about going to a new spot. The band was pretty good. Service sucked. They close at 1am and the server told us ” Last call ” at 11:00 pm. I said I thought you all close at 1am. She then relies” well once the band stop we are basically closing. Really ??? Food order was wrong. I had 1 glass of red wine then asked for another one , 20 minutes later Im told there isn’t any more. The host at the door was awesome .

The brunch buffet was underwhelming. ALL the food choices were merely prepackaged, canned goods, and frozen fish heated by the servers. I expect soul food to be from the soul. Every dish lacked seasoning and I should have known the food wasn’t going to be great by the disclaimer on the menu of “no refunds for food not to the customer’s liking”. The servers were really nice people, but the food was entirely disappointing. I will not return for brunch. Maybe the dinner set will be a better experience.

Customer service was good but they’re a little disorganized. We had a party of four and two people had been before so they suggested we go. I had seen the menu online and was looking forward to the visit. However when we got there they had 5 food items and just as many $10 cocktails. Our server said they were trying something different which I understand but that should definitely be known on the website. So that was a disappointment because there were food items I was looking forward to trying. We all ordered the $10 drinks but when the bill came it was $50 plus. My friend asked why the bill was high seeing as the drinks are $10 and the server asked where she got that from? Well clearly it’s on this limited menu you have so she adjusted the bill.

The place itself is a whole vibe. They had live music playing, the margaritas were ok, and the food was pretty good. The only thing I had a problem with is that when I paid I didn’t get a receipt with a breakdown of the total amount I spent there. I only received a credit card receipt with my grand total. I ordered 2 baked chicken plates with two sides, two margaritas and a vodka Pineapple cocktail and my total came out to $110.00. Seems a little bit pricey for what I purchased, definitley would of went downtown instead with those prices.

Horrible service. Sat at a table with friends for over a hour with no server even speaking to us. Got my own drink from the bar after waiting over 20 min. When they did finally take my order (1 hr 12 min after arrival) my food came after orders of people who joined my party after the order. This could’ve been a great spot to frequent repeatedly but I prefer to spend my money at places that show their appreciation through quality service
