Cubby’s, in a sentence, is the quintessential suburban woman’s eatery. Lots of bougie options like avocado, quinoa, and kale, which seems to be a magnet for Lululemon ambassadors. I’ve got a deep-seated bias against such eateries (which is probably obvious in my other reviews), so I’ll save it for my therapist and move on to what you came here for.

Unique fresh salads sandwiches and burgers, vegan options, and the best sweet potatoes fries I’ve ever had!! Crisp outside and soft in middle, 12-20 a plate not 5 stars due to price and anywhere that uses tipping software for a fast food service automatically gets docked.

I ordered a Beet Salad and added tri-tip, service was not the fastest in the drive through but I thought I would be worth it since the salad looked really good in the menu, but no. The spring mix lettuce was in majority mushy and old, I ended up having to eat only the toppings because the quality of the lettuce was horrible as you can see in the pictures. I literally got the food and parked near the restaurant to eat so it’s not like it was sitting in my car for a long time. It’s just very frustrating to spend $20 in a salad that’s old and mushy.

What can I say…the atmosphere and staff are great, but the food falls quite short of the prices. This isn’t a normal sandwich-burger joint but more of a hipster quasi-vegan place. The food appears appealing on presentation but the flavors are all a tad off. If your Saturday plans consist of dropping $60 for a 3 star meal, that’s your perogative, but I don’t think we will be doing so again in the future.

The fries and sauce were so yummy! The salad I got was nothing special and it took a long time for them to bring it out to me. I figured that they had forgotten about me. Meanwhile, the rest of my friends had their orders so It was awkward while we waited for mine. Thing is, the place hardly had any patrons so I’m not sure what the deal was. I thought the salad would have been bigger too. I was also surprised that it came out in a to-go container. At least that container was eco-friendly. I’m not sure if I would go back. My friends say that they love going there though.

Cubby’s is a chain restaurant that has a fast food feel yet everything is made to order so it takes linger than fast food. They are known for their burgers and organic options, along with a few other menu items. The prices here are extremely high for the portion size but it definitely makes us in flavor. Their burgers are cooked just right, their Mac n cheese is pretty creamy, and their fries are crunchy.
