Come here every week just for the coffee (Cafe Cubano). Food is delicious and comes in large servings. The sweet plantains, grilled fish with Cuban rice are delicious. Family diner atmosphere – no bar, but that is ok because the food makes up for it. Head’s up, If you plan on trying out the paella, you need to call an hour ahead of your arrival, and deserts run out fast. Genuine service, but can be a little slow when it gets busy. Overall, this is a local favorite for a reason!

Love this place!! Every time I’ve been, the food is delicious and the people are super nice. The Cuban sandwich is amazing! For appetizers, the beef tostones and the ham croquettes are both equally delicious. I can’t decide on my favorite item because it’s all great!!

What a great find. We love Cuban food and were looking all over Phoenix for a good place. This restaurant is simple and clean, with friendly service and the incredible food! Great selection of desserts as well. The Cuban sandwich was the best!!

Over the last few years I’ve developed a love for a good Cubano sandwich. Recently, one of the restaurants that had the best one I’d ever had sadly closed. I happened to be in the same area as Cuban Foods and decided to stop by. The door had a cash only sign but fortunately an ATM was right around the corner. I ordered the Cubano and the plantain chips with garlic sauce. The Cubano is ENORMOUS. As you can see, it took up the entire to go box which made two meals for me. This sandwich was definitely worth the price! The fries were thin and well seasoned. I love that it was grilled and the flavor was delightful. The plantain chips were crunchy and tasted exactly like the ones I had previously that I was so missing. The garlic sauce was more of an oil with garlic chunks which isn’t what I was expecting but it was really good! They also have a pastry display case with many delicious looking desserts. Unfortunately, I don’t live very close to here but the next time I’m close by, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious food and the very friendly service!

Place was really good! So was the service. Very hospitable. We had the tostones rellenos, lechon asado, and the Cuban sandwich. Tired it off with a cafe con leche and flan. Delicious. Definitely be back

I will rate this place a 3 start. First the staff was friendly and the order was correct. My only complaint was that the cubano sandwich was lacking taste. The pickle seemed to be sparse and the mustard was hardly there. The portion was larger than expected. I drove across town to try this place out as I really like cuban sandwiches but I just found the sandwich lacking taste for me. I ordered two and both were the same.

We’ve checked out several different Cuban establishments so we were really looking forward to coming here. We ordered several appetizers to try out. Papas Rellenas, Ham Croquettes and Yuca Frita.

I ordered the beef tostones rellenos – these were excellent! I ordered bistec uraguayo this came out overcooked and maybe the grease needed to be changed. It wasn’t golden like on the picture. The meat lacked flavor both in the meat and the beans. I also ordered a seniority this dresser was light but tasty. I wish it had more vanilla intensity and possibly more custard but was good overall. The waitress asked what I thought about the food. I notified her the bistec uraguayo wasn’t good and there was no resolution or ask for how to fix it. She just said you’ll still have to pay. I was praying this would all be good to lend to me ordering something to go but I was let down in the normally rich flavors I was normally a custom to in Cuban food in Florida and back home. I won’t return to try this again.
