Okay.. this place is very good… but if you are familiar with Tampa/Miami Cuban sandwiches they didn’t quite live up to that. Very good, I will definitely return and eat other items off the menu. The sandwich, side beans and a 12 oz coke =$20. Beans were spot on!

A wonderful small cafe set back in a quiet neighborhood in vacaville. When i stepped inside the place smelled like my abuela’s kitchen so i immediately knew something was going to be good. You can’t go wrong with the cuban sandwich, although they serve a killer pan con bistec and the ropa vieja plato is really good. everything was perfect and the owner is very sweet. My abuela would be jealous.

My wife actually found this hidden gem! This place has outside dining as well as inside. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day on the table and chairs out front. We ordered the chicken salad and Cuban burger and shared them. We also ordered the croquettes. (Which are delicious. The mustard dill sauce thing is out of this world. Thats what it tastes to me.) Now, the chicken salad is really good. Green crisp lettuce, thin green apple slices, avocado, chicken and bacon with a homemade ranch. Im drooling thinking about it. The Cuban burger, probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. On a Cuban bun, 2 patties w/ cheese and the normal toppings. The bun is what sold me, it was soft but crunchy.

The food is amazing but the people here are even better. We tried a little of everything meat pies, ropa vieja, pollo de Plato, fries, croquetas, papas rellenos. I would say definitely try the meat pies, pollo de Plato, and ropa vieja. The rest you could live without. The people here are lovely they are attentive and patient with us and looking at the menu over and over again and even came out with chicken papas rellenos that were pretty good for us to just try. I would also say try the smoothies definitely worth it.

Food was good, my sandwich, apple turnover and coffee were yummy. But the lady in cashier was not friendly at all!

The food was authentic based on my visits to Miami and my trip to Cuba. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Loved the experience and the atmosphere of this quaint restaurant. It felt like you were dining at a friends home. My friend and I ordered five items so that we could taste everything and nothing was disappointing.

Amazing food and coffee! Owners are great as well! Also, they’re not yelling, they’re Cuban! Went two days in a row because the food was that good.

This was a very small but clean and friendly atmosphere. I came with a good friend who told me what she likes. I had the Ropa Vieja plate. They served it with fried sweet plantains, avocado and black bean rice. It was amazing- rich, full flavored and incredibly delicious.

I’ve been coming here for years and never been disappointed. The food is delicious, and the Cuban coffee is the best. The owners personality is awesome too, she’s always so cheery.
