Shrimp and veggies was very good. Only issue: everything was dripping and leaking all over when the driver delivered it. They need to double-box their take-out orders.

My first time here at the restaurant. Ordered p3 Pho, which was about $12.50 w/ tax. They forgot to include any napkins or utensils. I do have to say my first impression with this restaurant wasnt the best, but their food changed my mind. The best way to describe the noodle was simple but exceptional. The plain noodle went well with the meatball, which packed a strong flavor, much stronger than other meatballs I had in other pho restaurants.

Overpriced below mediocre food. Take-out only. Kung pow chicken was mostly peanuts with a few peices of chicken and overabundance of inedible peppers. Tiny portions of rice, little bit of sweet and sour sauce. Stale fortune cookies. Fried rice was very dry . Portions of the entire meal was definitely not worth over 40$ for two people.

I get Chinese takeout from here every since I moved to the area. I would really take some of the 1 star reviews with a grain of salt. It is takeout, not a Michelin star restaurant.

We just found out this place existed. It’s just south of the new Cub / old BK. All the typical Chinese American restaurants in Longfellow have been moving out or closing, so we are so happy we found this place. The food was all hot and delicious, and the two people who helped us were very polite and friendly. We can get “Chinese takeout near me” again!

When I first moved into the area people were telling me this was the place to go for Chow mein.

Back visiting in our old neighborhood, we decided to order from one of our old Favorites. Food was very dissapointing. Sesame chicken was dry and tough, chicken fried rice tasted burnt or like a cigarette ash tray. Cashew chicken was ok and the cream cheese won tons were over cooked. Ended up throwing it all away.

Been going here since it opened. We recently moved away and I was feeling nostalgic so we ordered our usual. I am pretty sure they are under new ownership because I didn’t recognize anyone, nothing came with sauce like the fried dumplings, the food was all over cooked (burnt), and nothing tasted the same. I suspect they have a new food distributor (one with a red dragon on the side). The last point was the very thing that set Crystal garden apart from every other Chinese takeout around. Super basic run of the mill cheap Chinese food… Change my mind crystal garden.

I like to have enough rice to go with my take out orders, but the amount they give you is very little; they charge like $6 for more rice, and it’s still not enough.
