Love coming here for a cocktail or two! I haven’t tried the food yet but definitely plan to. They have a fairly relaxed atmosphere, tasty cocktails and helpful staff. The QR code ordering option when sitting outdoors is also really convenient

We came to Gainesville unfortunately for sad news. But Cry Baby’s was a fun atmosphere to hang out and detach for a while. Their bartenders are great, drinks were strong, food was awesome! I got the Buffalo boneless tenders with fries while my husband had the meatball sub. If you are looking for a fun time, go to Cry Baby’s!!

Tonight, I went to a new restaurant in town that serves a unique type of sushi – hotdog sushi. Yes, you read that right. Instead of traditional sushi ingredients, they use hotdogs as the filling and wrap them in rice and seaweed. I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit, it was surprisingly delicious.

My party had a very memorable experience. The atmosphere assisted us in feeling comfortable and relaxed. Cleanliness is of importance to me and I was satisfied. I would recommend adding paper towels to the bathroom for those that don’t like hand dryers. On this summer night out parking was not an issue. I enjoyed the details such as the custom napkins and detailed drinkware. We definitely will visit again.

Pretty pricey for what you get, but it was fresh & yummy and our table was clean, so we didn’t mind as much. Staff was friendly as well. The alcoholic beverages are tiny and LOADED with ice and we were served small cups of room temp tap water with our meals, which I found odd. Lol No ice, just warm-ish water. My alcoholic beverages were SUPER strong, so at least they don’t rip you off at the bar lol, however they weren’t mixed very well, so they didnt taste that great. Maybe they have a new bartender who was unfamiliar with how to mix those particular cocktails. ‍♀️ Idk. Anyway, our food was good and came out fast and the atmosphere was fun. I doubt I’ll go back next time I’m in Gainesville only bc of the prices vs what we got, but it’s worth at least 1 visit. It was the only restaurant open near our hotel, so we went there to grab a late dinner after driving all day. They are open late, so they have that going for them.

Cry Baby’s is a historic bar in the center of downtown. Great food and the most inventive cocktails! An incredibly knowledgeable staff will help you journey through the wonderful flavors. We celebrated our anniversary and can’t wait to return! The pictures are of the Diamond Dog, Mean Mug and a Last Word. Yum!

One of Gainesville’s top 3 burgers! Buns were perfectly toasted, patty was cooked perfectly, fries were delicious. I just wish they had some fresh onions for topping to cut some of the greasiness. The hot chicken sandwich was actually pretty spicy! Staff were friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable and I’d definitely come back!

A craft cocktail bar with amazing food. The place has a cool vintage atmosphere and a few games for patrons to play. Their gin fizz and paloma are delicious, well-balanced drinks. A great location for late-night food, including a bucket of fried chicken, which is amazing. The drinks are on the more expensive side but they’re well made and fairly priced in my opinion.

Such a fun pretty vibe, and great drinks! Didn’t get a chance to try the food, but we’ll definitely be back. Our waitress Shannon was very sweet and helpful. The stern brunette hostess did not exactly have a “friendly” disposition, which was a bit offputting for the experience, but overall, it was a great time. Really looking forward to next time!

All the bad reviews are cap. This place has it all. Good vibes, great service, awesome drinks +beer. Don’t underestimate their bar food menu, I’ve never been disappointed. A must visit in Gainesville and food for all ages. Not the typical “college bar” filled with undergrads. this is a carefully crafted venue. Their bartenders are ALWAYS enthusiastic and hard working in their craft
