I found Crust Wood Fried Pizza whole exploring Folly Beach. In Pennsylvania “wood fired” pizza is popular, so I wanted to try the local version. Very good, crunch, flavor, and a good variety of toppings and combinations to choose from. I liked the atmosphere but as I’ve gotten older I prefer turning up the lights more, to low and you get that bar feeling. Also, if you have a wood fired stove, show it or exploit it, make it a feature people can see or help you as the customer make the connection with Crust Wood Fired Pizza. I would still recommend and go back when I’m in the area.

I am OBSESSED with Crust’s kale burrata salad with roasted cauliflower! Our favorite pizza was the goat cheese tomato, which is topped with sliced red onion, fresh tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, crumbled goat cheese and fresh mozzarella. I also highly recommend starting with a basket of their fries (not usually something I order at a pizzeria, but they are fresh cut and are accompanied by a garlic dipping sauce).

This is another good spot in Terrace. The pizza is solid but the pasta is really good too. We had the meatballs tonight to start with which were pretty good. Then for the main course I had the beef short rib cavatelli. I thought this was really good. The beef was so tender and the sauce wasn’t overpowering but still tasty. For my first time trying the pasta I would get it again. I might like that more than the pizza. Give them a shot if you’re close.

We stopped in when getting into Charleston relatively late and chose this restaurant. Cute atmosphere, small but well thought out menu of pizzas, pasta and a drinks menu that had excellent local beer selection, small but well thought out wine selections. Above average service, very knowledgeable. We loved Beef Short Rib cavatelli pasta with broccolini and mushrooms. Shrimp scampi also excellent. Kale Burrata salad with cauliflower balsamic; and greens and beet salad with blue cheese, apples and candied walnuts. The Tiramisu was excellent as well as a fun twist on S’mores. Our server Baeleigh was exceptional in every regard, both in knowledge and execution.

Looking for some place with atmosphere after a day of sightseeing, Crust looked like it might be the place. As we pulled up, the over full parking lot for the local art house movie theater made us think twice. However, after finding a parallel parking spot and walking up to the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised at the cozy, warm atmosphere.

The steak sandwich with rosemary fries is a feast! Many thanks to Amber, the bartender, who gave me the recommendation. I got it to go, and the lady who boxed it up for me was very diligent in including all the meal details! The sandwich has multiple ingredients, and the steak is top notch! I also got the house wine, and I appreciated the variety of pricing on the menu. The shop itself feels like a hole in the wall due to its small size but enigmatic atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

We arrived on a Sunday in October around noon. It was pretty busy but there were tables available. We opted to sit at the bar. The three people that were working the room were doing some serious multi-tasking – and doing it quite well. We enjoyed a draft IPA and a pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza. Pretty tasty but could have used a little more toppings and cheese. The pepperoni slices were thin and huge so it’s not Hormel! The pizza was just the right size for two of us. Parking can be an issue as there are several restaurants in the area.

Great, casual place for Italian food. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. We had the Antipasto and Korean BBQ wings. The wings were sooo good. Then we all had wood fired pizzas and we all liked our pizza except for one who said his was bland. Otherwise, great food. The restaurant itself is pretty small and parking can be an issue. There is a gravel parking on the side of the complex so save yourself some time circling the parking lot and head there 1st.

The food is awesome. The bartenders are great. I love when they remember me as we go in regularly. The pizza is great. I love the butternut pizza and my husband likes a classic cheese. The Ceasar salad is my favorite. I would buy the dressing jarred up. Yum. It can get a little loud in there and the front entrance gets clogged up at times.

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food here. I had wings and gluten free pizza and all was delicious. Also tried a bold rock hard cider and they were great as well. Our server Parker was amazing and very helpful and curtious.
