Don’t be discouraged by the appearance of the restaurant….their fried chicken and chicken tenders had really good flavor. The biscuits are so delicious and prices are affordable…

It’s an interesting place, gigantic menu with food from multiple cultures which is usually a bad thing especially from a place that looks to be an old Wendy’s.

What an interesting place, it looks run down and almost abandoned. However, the food is amazing and it’s made fresh when you order. You will have to wait longer than you normally would for fast food but it’s worth it. Hands down some of the best chicken in Roanoke!

This is not the same as the Northern Crown Fried Chickens. They don’t have stuff like Chicken over rice or any of the rice platters. Thought it would be a nice stop on my road trip but was not since that is what I normally order some of the rice platter part of the menu.

We recently moved here, and I was excited to learn about a halal chicken place, all of the Sisters in the masjid recommended this place to me. First thing I was pleased with was how kind the staff was. Secondly everything was HOT, not warm, hot. My husband loved the tilapia and greens, the chicken was juicy and the biscuits were delicious. Finally somewhere in this little town to satisfy that craving in a halal manner.

Best fried chicken in the Roanoke/Salem area. My dad used to take me here as a kid and I remember it being great. I recently paid a visit and it was better than I remembered. The prices are affordable and the service is fast. The fried chicken was both crispy and juicy and many fast food chains around CFC are not comparable. The Mac and cheese was great and the biscuits was both fluffy and buttery. The food here is halal and the service was really friendly. CFC has made many memories and will definitely make more. I don’t make reviews at all but crown definitely deserved ine

Overall Crown chicken is a good place, I won’t recommend the actual chicken from there though. I ordered a 8 pc mix chicken, the chicken was absolutely nasty. The meat was still red inside, and instead of it being crispy, it was soft and tender. Everytime i order from there I always have the worst chicken, They definitely need to step it up

This is not the crown chicken I’ve had elsewhere. Walked in, and they only had two tables, bothered were dirty. Had the 3 piece chicken, the thigh wand wing were extremely dry. The drum was the only piece that was juicy. The biscuit/roll that came with it was bland and unedible, in my opinion. Don’t waste your money here. Go to KFC, Chic-Fil-A, Popeye’s, or elsewhere.

Lots of options. Something for everyone. Decently priced however the food is kind of bland. Not many seasonings in the food a lot of the sides are just mayonnaise based salads with little thought. Foods and combos do not come with drinks so you will have to pay extra for drinks and they only offer cans or bottles. The chicken is decent considering there’s no other real place for fried chicken on this side of town. They have several desserts as well as sandwiches and burgers too. They also offer fish however I was not a fan it seems like they need to clean it just a bit more.
