On a Saturday morning around 9am I decided to go for some Breakfast at Crossbow. Being my first time I was not nervous about the service when I can see the outside how beautiful the restaurant looks. As I walked in the waitress welcomes me to pick a seat of my choice. Once seated the menu is on the table ready to see my options the restaurant has to offer. Drink (sweet tea) was ready and on my table within a minute of being asked which was amazing. After a couple of minutes of deciding the waitress came back to check if I was ready to order. Once placing my order my breakfast was ready within five minutes.

Food was good. The place was clean. Service was normal of a small town environment. It was hot in the restaurant. I asked and the air conditioner can’t keep up with the open kitchen on hot days.

When traveling to various sports events, our school bus would always stop at this restaurant. So now years later my wife and another couple found us un the area and hungry. I understand the original building burned but the name was the same. Very pleasant stop and the food was very good. However, the stories and memories were priceless.

If you are going around Huntsville on 412 and are hungry go south on Arkansas 23 to Crossbow. They have a small menu but the food is great. Their staff is excellent too.

Recently (2022) completely remodeled with new owners! You don’t want to miss out on this great hometown restaurant!! Delicious home cooked meals with most items made from scratch! The BEST pie around! Friendly owners who strive to make every visit great! They have healthy options (delicious salads and yogurt parfaits) and yummy not so healthy options (anything smothered in their from scratch gravy!)

What a hole in the wall and a gem also. I have been to Huntsville many times and have never been to the Crossbow restaurant but I’ll be back. The service was a little slow but I was not in a big hurry. I had a late breakfast with the two pork chops eggs biscuits and gravy. My wife had the smothered roast beef sandwich or opened faced. My mother in-law had the bacon wrapped sirloin steak. For all three plates it was less than $30.00 dollars. Good restaurant

Food was excellent service not too great. Never came back to check on us after we got our food. Had to call the waitress just to pay the check. Only 4 tables full when we got there. I understand If a place was busy but they were not.
