Okay so I met a few friends from work here recently early Saturday morning for some breakfast and coffee. Honestly, the food I had was basic, but it was good and dirt cheap as well. However the restaurant was not well kept and I got an unfriendly vibe right away, the waitress was nice, the lady serving drinks was a little uptight but all in all okay atmosphere more of an older people crowd with mostly regulars. I could see into the kitchen which did not look very clean, and the general cleanliness was very poor. Would be good enough for a quick and cheap breakfast before work, but not much more.

This is a restaurant of low sanitation standards and off-putting staff. The outstandingly low prices still fail to provide a substantial incentive to dine here.

What a cool and inviting restaurant … I can remember eating there when I was younger … always good food, always good prices … we stopped in with 9 people … 4 generations worth ! … hopefully whoever bought the place will retain the uniqueness … ’cause you just can’t find down-home eating places like Crites … a very nice time was had by all …

It’s a great greasy spoon restaurant featuring a tasty breakfast menu. Now if they would put a little effort in their outside appearance it would be even more special. The staff are friendly!

Crites rocks their tuesday special country fried steak with corn and mashed potatoes for $3.25 is amazing wish they had longer hours also their steak burger rocks and they have good breakfast also

Crites is the old krowd… these are staged and experienced older folks wonderful place cheapest food in town actually in many towns you can eat a meal for less than $5
