Great prices for most things. Good food all around. The cheeseburger? I can take it or leave it at $6, it was nothing special but that’s it for the negatives. My French fries (which I always ask for well done because I like them crispy) were cooked to perfection. The chili dog was good BUT, the clear winner here, was their version of a hot dog with “the works”. The works here consists of yellow mustard, sauerkraut, sweet red relish (I’ve only ever had hot red relish before so this was a nice surprise) and their in house made hot sauce which is almost like a salsa. The flavors of this hot dog coalesced so wonderfully that I can definitely see myself driving to Stratford (completely out of the way of everything for me) just to get one. Good job, Cricket. I’ve been looking for a new, really good hot dog for awhile now.

Tried this place for the first time today…placed my order online and then a few minutes later I just drove up and picked my food up. Employees were friendly and got my order in less then 5 minutes. Everything was hot and delicious! I got a hot dog with the works, love the toasted New England bun, also tried a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup, it was so juicy and flavorful…I believe they use Pat LaFrieda Wholesale Meat Purveyors for the meat.

You can’t go wrong ordering here. Hot dogs are great as well as the French fries. The fries are not the skimpy, thin cut ones but hefty and filling crinkle cut ones that taste great with salt, pepper and ketchup. Nice people too.

My friend and I popped in to Cricket Car Hop for lunch one weekend and found it to be quite the hidden gem! It’s remarkably clean, and they have a great menu. Most importantly, they use Hummel hot dogs, which are my favorite! I made my own hot dog with bacon, onions, and cheese, and my friend ordered the clam strips with waffle fries, which were all delicious. I especially loved the chocolate nor’easter I had with Reese’s! I already can’t wait to come back to enjoy the patio when it gets warmer out.

My husband and I love cricket long dogs! Their fries are crinkle fries and are hot and fresh every time. What really struck me was when we were there recently, I notice how clean and well-maintained their outdoor dining area is. The large parking lot is appreciated too. Keep up the good work!

Get ready to be transported back in time to when fast food was good! The service was fantastic and very friendly. I was a newbie so the clearly stated and well-lit menu made it easy to figure out the lingo and the different combinations. My 89-year-old father told me to come here for his dinner that night so I knew I was in for a treat. Everything was perfect! My dad had 2 long dogs loaded and I had a burger, both were absolutely delicious. To make things even better we both got chocolate shakes. Very creamy and thick, outstanding! It wasn’t a busy night and the food was fresh. The buns were extra soft and the fries were hot. That meal was cooked for us and it wasn’t just sitting on a warmer or under a heat lamp, or recooked with a microwave, it was freshly prepared. Thank you for a great simple traditional meal! I will definitely be back.

Favorite lunch stop when I was in town for work. Flavorful burgers, good hot dogs, and excellent shakes. I typically got a double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a large shake which ran me a little over $20. I could’ve done without the shake if I’d been paying for it myself which would’ve brought it closer to $15, but I always splurge when work is paying.

Good, but not like the original. I’ve been a couple times now and the food is decent. I don’t recommend the chili dog, the chili had an odd flavor…probably from a can. Their famous original dogs are really good so I recommend sticking to them. Stay away from the clam strips, definitely frozen from a bag.
