This was one of the spots that we really wanted to give a go since it was attached to the team that owns our favorite spot in Cherry Creek. We expected that it would be the same level of execution, but it just wasn’t. The wine pull is a fun experience, the drinks are solid but the food left something to be desired. The oysters we ordered were okay. But we wanted to try the dip tower & some other options. We placed the order, but our order never came. Luckily we didn’t get charged for it, but when we asked about it, our server said she forgot to put it in. Super bummed but there’s better options in the Cherry Creek area.

Huge disappointment! We went there on Sunday and they had an 1.5h delay on entrees! We were starving and the portions were very small, not only the appetizers. We ordered a seafood tower that came with food for one. Fried chicken and ribs were mediocre. I don’t think we will be back.

Excellent cocktails and great wine list. Food was made well albeit much smaller portions than their sister restaurant next door. Our favorite was the steak kebab which was made very well. Espresso martinis were delicious. Our server was accommodating and very personable.

The dip tower here is the best! We decided we had to come here after having a fabulous dinner at Kini’s a few weeks before, and they let us know they weren’t doing the dip tower anymore, but it was available next door at Cretans. I opted for the spicy pepperoncini “pour over” martini… was is a bit disappointed when it arrived already in its glass, and there was no pour-over (hence only four stars).

Liz was an absolute gem of a waitress! She’s funny and trying real hard to build her repertoire of wine knowledge. The building, as always, is clean and respectable but loud. Some sound dampening foam on the ceiling would go a long way!

Good food, ok service. Went for a dinner with some colleagues. There were 6 of us, and given the menu is tapas style, I would have hoped for the server to provide guidance on ordering. For example, I asked for the country bread. When it arrived, there were two slices of bread haphazardly thrown on a small plate. Poor plating aside, I figured there would be enough for the table, OR the server would have advised us accordingly on the order. Similar experience for a few other dishes where the dishes didn’t add up to the size of the group. After the food came, the server also just disappeared on us.

Loved the decor and environment. It did take a while to get drinks and our food. It was my Husbands birthday and his food came out cold. Slightly disappointing when we dropped a very large amount of money.

Cretans has great food and drinks! The reason for 4 stars is the service. The staff was very nice, but service was painfully slow and I’m not quite sure why. It took forever to get seated and the staff forgot to get some stuff. But again, they were polite and kind.
