What a little hidden gem! This seafood joint is absolutely adorable. Tucked in the basement this restaurant is packed with under the sea-like charm! The decor and the intimate little seating nooks are perfect for small and large gatherings alike. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. I didn’t get to take photos of my seafood boil in a bag, but it was truly exceptional. Did I mention that there is a fire table inside? Well there is! We visited on a chilly Saturday and the entire place was nice and cozy. We don’t drink, but they had a fully stocked bar. This place is perfect to deliver whatever your needs may be… We highly recommend.

Good food – Great service – Place was completely empty on Thursday night. Keep the food in the bag. The large metal plates cool the shrimp faster than you can eat them.

Where do I start? The red flags were there when we entered. Saturday night 7:30 pm and my wife and I were there with one other couple. We still decided to give it a try. We ordered appetizers. My wife had calamari, I had crab cakes because they only had chicken gumbo. Worst appetizers ever. You can taste the old oil it was cooked in. Not real crab in crab cakes. Nothing is fresh. I had crab boil with snow crab and crayfish. Crayfish over cooked, tasteless, chewy. Snow crabs the same. Service was a joke. Waiter checked on us one time in our 1 and 20 minute stay. Anyway our bill was $201.46 for two people. 2 crab boils. Ridiculously outrageous. We don’t recommend this place at all. I didn’t even eat the crab cakes and my wife didn’t eat the calamari. We couldn’t. It tasted wrong. But we still got charged for it. This place is not worth your hard earned money. Stay away.

I took my dad here for his birthday, and the first thing I noticed was the service. The two women we interacted with were so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The Mai Tai was the best I’ve ever had, and would return for that alone. However, the food came and it was delicious as well! My family is picky, and everyone was satisfied. They even brought my dad a free dessert which was SO good. Please keep in mind this restaurant only opened 2 months ago, and every new restaurant is going to have kinks to work through. Definitely give them a chance!

I heard this place may not have stayed opened because it wasn’t attracting business but I truly hope that’s not true cause it was sooo good! From drinks to food and service! I hope it stays open.

First visit.. Had a nice time on a Weds evening about 7pm. Enjoyed a wide selection of seafood and seasonings. I am giving 5 Stars because th e food was 4.4 star while service and atmosphere were 5 star. While maybe not East Coast or New Orleans quality, I am very appreciative to have this type restaurant – and good quality at that – in my home neighborhood. Recommended for a fun, messy time. Larger parties would be even more fun.

I’ve been to probably 12 seafood boils in the Chicagoland area. This is the only one I’ve ever experienced where the boil doesn’t automatically come with sides like corn on the cob and potatoes. You have to pay extra for them. In what other circumstances would you ever order a meal where the protein doesn’t come with a side? Fine, they pinch pennies. I was still willing to give them a try. Their seafood is only sold in full pounds (you can’t do half pounds) which is irritating but isn’t the end of the world or super uncommon. I would’ve been willing to put up with all of this if it wasn’t for one thing: the food was incredibly bland. So not only was the meal more expensive than I’m used to (since I had to pay extra for sides) but lacking in flavor. Also, keep in mind that the location isn’t accessible to wheelchair users or anyone that couldn’t get down some stairs. This wasn’t relevant to me it’s something I noticed.

I’m not sure where to begin. I really wanted to like this place. The high/low ratings are either a reflection of extremely inconsistent service or the positive reviews must be from family/friends of the owners. Incredibly overpriced and you get absolutely nothing for the the cost of your chosen seafood. Don’t expect a boil unless you’re willing to purchase each item that makes a boil separately. It’s like going to a pizza restaurant and the price given only includes the dough. At the very least, as a dedicated seafood restaurant, the one thing you should do well is cook seafood to perfection. Nope. Our lobster was so overcooked it was tough, rubbery and inedible. The menu actually states “Choose wisely. No returns for bad decision making.” The only bad decision we made was eating here.

This is a very reasonably priced seafood boil place! I’ve been to a few in the midwest and they’re usually far too pricey for my preference, but the price here is great. The food is good, the boil is a bit above average, but nothing crazy. The real big winners are the atmosphere and the drinks! It’s very cozy and well decorated down there. And the drinks are DELICIOUS! I’m excited to bring my friends to get their delicious Daddy’s Margarita. Their frozen margs are huge and really, really good. Can’t wait to come back, and really happy to have a southern seafood place in La Grange.

The decor is nice and we really enjoyed the hush puppies. The crab however was definitely not 1 lb. for both the snow and king. $74 for 4 small pieces of king crab was ridiculous. The corn was mushy and likely frozen. Drawn butter tasted fake. $225 date night that left us hungry. Didn’t see any floor manager at all and our server was ok.
