3 stars only because Eric is attentive. Waited 35min for a $16 burger that came way overcooked . My girl felt sick after eating a mashed bowl. MESSAGE TO OWNER, YOU HAVE A GREAT LOCATION INVEST!

I’m not one to bash any company by all means and I don’t want to rate this place as a 1 star to crush them.. but my food tonight for the price I paid was not worth it and would like to share my experience. I ordered DoorDash tonight and I wanted to try something different so I decided to order crave. I posted photos that are attached of the food we ordered. The last photo is what I threw together to make my very expensive sliders, actually taste good. The pork was dry.. so I added my own BBQ sauce to it, heated it up, and threw on some dry onion crunchies as well as the bread, sucked. I actually threw it out and used brioche buns I got from Aldi. The pretzel appetizer I threw out too along with the cheese it came with. The pretzels had what looked like table salt on them and was the worst pretzel appetizer I’ve ordered out anywhere. I’m pretty upset because I spent $60+ (With tip – this also includes another dish my boyfriend had and isn’t one to speak up) expecting an excellent meal and was disappointed. I will not order from here again. Maybe to some this is a great food joint but for my liking, it was very disappointing for the price.

Disappointed is an understatement. I’ve dined here before when it opened and was very pleased. Tonight was Downtown Night Out in TR and stopped into Crave for dinner. We were a party of 5 and ordered appetizers and a burger as our meals. 45 minutes later and no food. I went to the register to find out what was going on and the waitress was talking to 2 women ordering coffee. Owner came over and joined that conversation as well. I continued to wait another several minutes before anyone spoke to me. I work in customer service and a simple “we’ll be right with you” would have been fine. Instead the owner chose to discuss the price of bacon with the ladies. When the waitress finally acknowledged me, I explained that we had been waiting for 45 minutes. She just said ok. Not even an offer to check in the kitchen to see what the status of our food was. Our order of 4 appetizers and a burger should not have taken that long. When we ordered there were 3 other tables with customers including the tables outside so it’s not like the place was full. We ended up walking out without eating. Downtown Night Out is always a busy event so for the kitchen to be so slow is a shame. It’s a real shame because we frequent the downtown and support local businesses but we won’t go back to Crave.

We loved this place! Had the best nachos I’ve had in a long time. And they have a vegan menu! It’s so great not typical rabbit food type stuff like other places have. The sausage and peppers were incredible too. So happy this place opened and so impressed with everything. Service was friendly and nice. Place is really well laid out and clean. I’m excited they opened in downtown Toms River

Crave was a great place to go. The staff was friendly but the food wasn’t amazing. I would go again just for the atmosphere and staff but not for the food. If the owner can address the issues, I would be open to come back and make an updated review. Overall, I have to say that the owner has something going for them. The place is a wonderful place especially if you want to study or get some work done or even hang with friends or family. I would totally recommend this place.

Okay so their food is ridiculously delicious but as I’ve experienced you may go through an off day with them only with the kitchen forgetting things not the food quality. Like them not havin something you ordered and only findin out more than 5 mins ordering. Thankfully the server was amazingly funny without being so it made the switchin to a diff order and wait better. In the end still recommend this place with their delicious good. I love their cowboy burger.

Eat here & you won’t crave anything. The food was cold. The pasta was not even warm. My sister and I came to eat here with our niece. They didn’t even acknowledge her, offer a high chair. We grabbed it ourselves. They didn’t even give her utensils to eat or her a drink. We came here to try the vegan mozzarella sticks. The waitress was nice but told us they haven’t had mozz sticks in weeks.

I have ordered twice from here and both times I have to say I was very happy with my order. I’ve had the vegan sausage and peppers, the vegan Mac n’ cheese and the vegan nachos. I had to call the store and double check they were vegan nachos they were so good! The sausage and peppers were amazing as well, so flavorful. The Mac n’cheese wasnt as thick as I like, but the flavor made up for it. The portions are huge as well. Worth it on the vegan side!!!!
