Lagunitas Night Time Ale There are two kinds. There is Daytime kind, which is bright and welcoming and then there is Nighttime kind, which should never be confused with the Daytime. Night time is dark and deep and may take you to unexpected places that the daytime cannot. But then, the night time is not suited for ordinary life and ordinary tasks. In fact, night time may be the answer for that sort of thing, meaning that those sort of things may never get done. I had heard mixed reviews of the Crane Room so I was eager to see for my self. This old crane factory was turned into a restaurant/pub/brewery did not disappoint! The old crane that was used here is the focal point of the decor that harkens back to a time long forgotten. We were greeted by our server Cheri, who was fantastic! Friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes served here. My wife and I both opted for the French Onion soup, that was served with a garnish of tasty onion straws on top. It was delicious, and had a generous portion of onions in the rich beef broth! I chose the Ricotta Cheese Ravioli and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Salad for our mains. The ravioli was perfectly prepared and the red sauce complimented it beautifully. My wife’s salad was served with ranch and honey mustard (both on the side) and it was huge and , according to my wife, very tasty! We weren’t going to have dessert but when Cheri mentioned the Chocolate Lava Cake served with ice cream, well she didn’t have to twist my arm! Well, it was huge! It was delicious! My wife and I shared it. Needless to say, we had a great dining experience at the Crane Room! BTW Cheri is the best!

Just had the beer batter haddock fish dinner with Mac and cheese and slaw and it was excellent, cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world, definitely would go back and will go back.

First time eating here. I had their marinated ribeye with a Caesar side and their chips. My waitress was friendly and service was quick. The ribeye was cooked as I wanted it and it was melt in your mouth tender. The marinated ribeye seasoning is on the sweet side so if you prefer the savory, you may want to opt for their salt and pepper ribeye offering. I finished with their Swiss roll dessert which was big enough to share. Excellent experience!

Visiting New Castle and was so glad to stop here. Food was great, service was friendly and helpful, and prices were good. We had the Wed build your own salad which I loved! Very creative and fun.

I ordered 2 Pittsburgh style sandwiches one was fine the other only 4 pieces of meat and 2 were burnt it should have been medium 2 were crunchy other 2 were good but I would think you would get more meat for 13.95 my husbands hamburger was ordered to be medium rare but was more like medium well were we only there with one other table we took our food home so I couldn’t bring it to anyones attention I tried to call and talk to a manager but was told that they weren’t there even the onions were see thru seemed old.

This was my second time eating here and I would not recommend it to anyone. The food use to be good. The menu had so many options and they had daily specials, Saturday we went for dinner the menu hardly has any options and there were no specials. I ordered a breaded chicken salad and the salad was so dry and gross. It tasted like two day old chicken reheated. There were no special and there was noone there to eat (which should have been a sign) the place has gone down hill alot since I was last there. I would save the money and go anywhere else for dinner.

The service was good, food was good, and atmosphere was good. We had beer battered fish and marinated ribeye. Would stop again if in the area, but drove 40 minutes to get here and probably won’t do that again.
