I have had good experiences here in the past so i’m going to give 3 stars…if you can get pass the location in Southside plaza with a lot of walkers, bus riders, and homeless in the shopping center it’s worth a try.

Food is old and nasty. Whiting tasted like it’s years old hard and cold. The scallops were GROSS. Coleslaw was horrible saving grace was the shrimp nice big and fried good. Spent over $70 and most of it went to the garage would not recommend.

I ordered the fried oysters, coleslaw and a long island ice tea, everything was delicious. The oysters came piping hot, good size and portion was just enough. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty. The long island ice tea was good, but I have had stronger. And then the DJ started spinning the jamz. The music was on point. I really enjoyed my meal. We plan on returning soon!!

Out of the 3 Crafty Crab establishments I’ve visited this one would have to be the cleanest and most efficient. We arrived at a time that wasn’t too busy and we served promptly. Literally after giving Lanicia our order food was brought to our table in 3-5 minutes. She was very courteous and ensured we were satisfied. Coming here on a Friday was awesome because there was a DJ and he was actually good. Will we return? Absolutely.

Glenda was the best!! This was my entire family first time here and we absolutely loved it!!! Just like the other reviews would not expect this in this location. But once inside it’s like you’ve been transported to a new place. Food amazing. Drinks amazing. Atmosphere amazing. We will definitely be coming back here again.

First time here at at this restaurant, food was pretty decent the inside of the establishment is really big and spacious they even have a DJ and dance floor. I would like to go back and try something else from the menu.

I love this restaurant in RVA. The food is so yummy and well worth the price. You will not be disappointed. I treated my brother and his wife for his birthday last week per his request and going back today with the rest of my family to finish celebrating . The seafood boils are amazingly good. The BOOM seasoning should be called the BOMB seasoning! I had enough food to last for two to three days afterwards. Check it out, you’ll definitely come back for more! “GOOD JOB CRAFTY CRAB SEAFOOD!!!!!”

We stopped by here with 9 family group while we were visiting Virginia. From Jacksonville, florida to Gloucester to coming here in richmond to try the crafty crab that had good reviews. It didn’t disappoint. At first we wasn’t sure how it was at first from outside, but when you walk in they have friendly staff and it’s all lit with decor and dimmed lights. Seen a jeep car and fish and sea decor. Wonderful lady i believed her name was Glenda helped us with our orders. The food was delicious and cooked well. The price was average to lil pricey $10-50 depending on what you choose but thats expected at seafood restaurants and worth it. Kids meals had good choices for the kids. On certian nights they also have karaoke here and seen a nice stage they had. Sounds like fun. Hoping to come again next time we visit. Hope to find and try out one here in Florida too.
