We had avoided this place for a while now because it looked empty all the time and honestly it looks run down somewhat. We were so pleasantly surprised by everything. The atmosphere was nice enough, bathrooms could use a little help, but wasn’t horrible. We got the special of 2 different Crab clusters and shrimp with potatoes, corn, and eggs in garlic butter. It was all soooo good. It wasn’t crowded for a Friday night and the service was fast and nice. We will totally be returning, with friends!!

Very disappointing. Every year for my birthday I get crab legs. Decided to give this place a try this year. Ordered a lb of snow crab legs which comes with corn and potatoes in a bag. They also give you a piece of cheesecake if it’s your birthday which was very nice. However the waiter was very rude. He brought the cheesecake out before our food even arrived so it sat on the table the whole time and was rather gross by the end. When the meal arrived what was in the bag was no way 1lb of crab, 2 very small clusters, 1 piece of corn and 2 tiny potatoes. They didn’t bring the crab crackers or anything either. When I asked if they made a mistake and brought the 1/2 lb he rather loudly said, 1 cluster is 1/2 lb, you got 2 clusters so that’s 1lb! And acted so annoyed when I asked for the crab cracker, he kept telling us “just a minute!”. We asked for another waiter and he kept asking “why, you don’t believe me that’s 1 pound!? If you don’t believe me, you can talk to my manager!”. So we did. And he wasn’t much help either. He said they estimate the weight and 1 cluster is approximately 1/2 lb so you only get 2. (They were so small!) They guess the weight?????? And as to the server, ” He’s not rude, just loud. That’s just the way he is”. What??? We should of left and went elsewhere, but we have a baby at home and couldn’t keep the babysitter waiting. I will never go back, and will warn my seafood loving friends to stay away too.

The staff here was very friendly and quick at service. The food was relatively well priced compared to other seafood places in the area. For instance 1lb of snow crab legs at a spot 25 min from here was 62 dollars and at Crafty Crab you can get 1/2 lb of legs 1/2 lb of shrimp, corn, potatoes, and a lobster tail for 48 dollars! We also had the fried calamari and steamed oysters. The calamari was a little chewy. The seafood boil was just a little overcooked, but the seasoning was delicious! Overall a good experience.

The service was good. The food was not. I ordered a dozen raw oysters but they came out white so they were frozen then heated and thawed out then put back on ice and put in the fridge so they were not good…the crab legs were okay but have definitely had better and for $140 for 2 I have had A HELL of A LOT better!!
