The waitress took the piece and apologized and said the manager was looking over the grill but I guess I just wanted the manager to say sorry or a discount for plastic in my food. I came here on a weekday morning, and while the shop was filled with adorable items and the service was good, unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. The coffee was not fresh and not even hot. My food was served lukewarm. The taste would have been pleasant, but I couldn’t get over the temperature of the food.

Terrible service! Waited 1.5 hours for food to be served. Had to tell the waiter we needed silverware as none was provided. Never served rolls. Eggs had strong smell of urine. Waiter never came back for refills. During this time 2 other people walked out as they had been waiting over 1 hour for drinks. If providing 0 stars was an option that is what I would give. This is the “Old Timers breakfast” very awful for the price and didnt eat it due to the smell. The Skillet Sirloin was cold and the chicken strips was the size of chicken nuggets (3 pieces). Walked in at 7:40ish PM and didn’t receive the meals till 9:20 PM. Awful!!!

Arrived to a full store, as expected on a Sunday. I won’t get into it here, but I think they need some safety training on where to place items for sale. One issue was multiple people were stumbling over a metal rooster on the floor. Next issue was our waitress, Jennifer. I am sitting at the table with my wife and kid. Jennifer comes up from behind me and placed her hand on my lower shoulder-blade then ran her hand up to the top of my shoulder. I did not appreciate that. Also, we complained about 75% of my wife’s roast beef being a huge glob of fat and no gravy with my biscuits and gravy, to which her responce was, “Well, I’ve got 8 tables…” Why is that my problem? It is no excuse for sub-standard quality and inaccuracies. I asked for the check and Jennifer said she would get the manager. I said I did not want a manager and that I only wanted the check. Ten minutes later, the manager comes out with my check. When the mgr gave me the check I went to the checkout and paid.

I did not dine during this trip. I came in to pick up some Hank’s Gourmet root beer. It is the only place in the metro area that I have found it. Cracker Barrel doesn’t just have good food, which they do, but they carry a lot of old-time stuff. It’s just marvelous. It truly is worth the trip.

Ordered food to go and was severely disappointed. They made the wrong food for my kids and even forgot the syrup for their pancakes. They gave the adults the wrong sides too. It also took 30 minutes longer than the already hour it said it would take. Had to wait an additional 30 min in the parking lot. Won’t be back.
