I love going to the Cracker Barrel. This one has really good. I was really unhappy with the service. Our waitress never came back and asked about coffee or drinks. The waitress only came over once. I’m the whole meal. I would not come back again.

I went to lunch with my son, who had steak tips. When he bit into one of the pieces, it was hard, so he thought there was a bone inside. Instead, he found a nail buried inside of it. The waitress came over and said she was going to take it and show it to staff in the kitchen. She took it away before we had a chance to say anything about it. I’m guessing the manager told her to do that so we wouldn’t have proof if we were going to try and sue them. Here’s a picture. It looked like a nail to me because of the length and thickness. My son said there was a hole on one end, which reminded him of a sewing needle.

First time dining at the Wisconsin location staff that greeted us was very friendly and polite. Our waitress was not that tentative we waited a very long time to be acknowledged but I ask the greeter about our waitress and getting us started. She hopped right into action and got us started with our drinks and took our order instead of making us wait any longer I really appreciated that and I thank her for her outstanding customer service cause she could have made us wait on our waitress but she didn’t. I ordered a trio that had chicken tenders, steak, and shrimp. It came with biscuits mash and gravy oh and I ordered Mac and cheese my food was delicious and the watermelon lemonade was tasty..

I love their chicken and dumplings. They also have some neat things in the store up front. As with any restaurant, wait times and service can vary depending on the day and time. But, I don’t remember having issues with any Cracker Barrel location I’ve been to.

First time here and had a very disappointing experience. We went before dinner rush. Server seemed nice and thought we would be enjoying our dinner but did not. Took a good 30-35 minutes to get our food. We didn’t get the cornbread or appetizer until our food was served. My side order was missing. It seemed to take a bit to get my side order. I got the managers attention because i was still waiting on side order. As he went to check on that I started to eat my dinner and all the food was cold. All 4 of our dinners were cold. Took a bit for him to come back out once I got the managers attention again about the food then they put a little hussle in there step to get our food warmed. They did offer to remake but didn’t feel like waiting again and now more people were there. The server never came back to check on us or ask about the refills or how everything was going.

Waitress was very forgetful. She was not knowledgeable about the menu on even the most basic things. We had to push to get the lunch menu (which started at 11) even though it was 10:58. The food took an extremely long time and when we did finally get the food – it was barely warm. Eggs taste awful at that temperature. Food had good flavor but it was too cool to even eat it. The atmosphere was very loud-could not even carry on a conversation. Overall – I would NOT recommend this place and will definitely not be going back. It’s a shame because I used to love going here.

We froze the whole entire time. I had to buy a $50 sweater for my daughter to wear. I said something to a cashier in the store and she said they always have it so cold and they probably do that so guests have to buy sweaters. Then we approach the hostess stand and awkwardly stand there for quite some time while 2 women argued about where to seat us. Our server, Tia, was horrible. Not friendly at all, never responded when my party of 4 said thank you. She did not check on us once the entire time. We had to stop other workers in passing.
