I love breakfeast and cheesecake. So, when I saw they had Stuffed Cheesecake Pancake Breakfast on the menu I was psyched out thinking how much I was going to love this meal. Even if I could not eat the pancakes I could tear up that cheesecake.

I’ve been to Cracker Barrel in more than a handful of states. As like the others, I have never had a bad experience at one. The service was good, and the food was fresh and well prepared. It’s been a few years since I’ve last been to one, but the portion seemed much smaller than what I’ve had at other locations I’m the past. I did not leave hungry, though.

Catfish undercooked and had little flavor, Mac and cheese cold, fried apples were good. Brought warm water with 2 little pieces of ice. Had to ask for the cornbread and server acted like we were asking for something extra. Place had a funny smell and needed its floors cleaned. My buddy that was with me really wanted it and it had descent reviews or I would not have stayed.

Long wait for such a small order. Grilled cheese for the twins and pancakes for me. Veey disappointed that EVERYTHING was cold, the pancakes were very dark on one side and hard to cut with a knife. The server was very friendly. Got to see an old friend who works there, so that made the visit worthwile.

Whatever Cracker Barrel lacks in menu refinement it more than makes up in food reliability. I’m basically a vegitarian so I appreciate the choices and the tastiness of what they have. And, of course, there are the servers who always make sure to refill that coffee cup and check often enough to make you feel welcome without being intrusive. Love going there.

We visited this restaurant Saturday around three. It wasn’t busy and we were seated immediately. The greeting and service was what-you-expect friendly and efficient. The food what-you-expect-good. The restaurant needs a good cleaning. Window shades splattered with food. Need for a good floor scrubber – they are about $5k, are easy to use, and will turn that place from gunk to glisten. Crumbs wedged between the window and sill shows lack of attention to detail. Sadly, the condition drops what could have been a 4-5 star rating to a 3.

We placed an uber eats order. I ordered coca cola cake. But instead got a giant family size of peach cobbler. I can understand if they were out but why was I not informed and offered a choice. Peach allergy? Death? Hello? I ordered sugar ham and got bacon. No fried apples. My iced coffee tasted like it had been left out in the sun. More like coffee water. Of course they were glad to make us pay for it all. (DT) did the quality check on my order. DT needs a new job.

Stopped in for some breakfast this morning. I had the Grandma’s Pancake Breakfast, my wife had the Country Boy Breakfast, and my son had the kids Grilled Chicken Tenders with a Baked Potato ($1.99 up charge). The service was great and the food was pretty good. The only issue that we had was my sons potato was not fully cooked, but they brought us another one and removed it from the bill. We will definitely be back soon.
