It felt like the air was broke it was so hot in there. Took a while for our server to come to us but when she got to us she was very nice. I wish the fried apples didn’t get cooked with the peel on them. Not a fan of the peeling but good flavor. The fries pickles are good. The loaded fries have so much thick cheese on the top and not much on the middle or bottom. The country fried steak and hamburger steak were very well cooked great flavor and will get again. Personally I’m not a fan of the hash brown casserole. The mashed potatoes had a bit too much pepper. Lot of food for sure and decent price. The biscuits were slightly overcooked and very dry.

Great Cracker barrel as you’d expect, but the front porch lacked seating. Which is weird, since they are known for the many rocking chairs, benches, etc. to sit and wait for your name to be called. Actually, the whole porch was clear of any decorations except for a few rocking chairs and two big barrels. ♀️ Other than that we loved the employees, atmosphere, and food!

I love this place from time to time, but I just got a sealed order via Door Dash.

Once again had to stop by a cracker barrel while we travel. This is the first time I’ve gone for breakfast. They had some food items that was listed as new to their menu so we had to try them. It was the Biscuit Benny and Stuffed cheesecake pancake breakfast. Delicious. Our server was also friendly and made sure our glasses were always full! We also did a little bit of shopping especially the 50%-70% off items.

Not bad compared to some other locations I’ve eaten at, the wait staff are at least competent here, if not striving to make it an excellent experience. The food is usually consistently decent as well.

Patron of Cracker Barrel over the past year my experiences and stars have withered away. The wait is similar to a five star Restaurant with the quality of one of those 24 hour bad diners. Wait staff used to see someone that was clearly looking for a server for help and fill the void. The focus is clearly get as many people seated and out while politely telling us repeatedly to take our time no rush. The wait from being on the waiting list to getting food was 92 minutes another 1-2 minutes for something to eat with. Ihop at least dropped off a carafe for coffee empty cup x2 people 3-4 times. Now for the food three people seemed ok with the order while I tried to get something I could eat and asked for the tomato on the side so I could possibly remove seeds. It was prepared evidently prior to the day because it could not be done. Which really makes me wonder if the food prep allows for no dietary restrictions why does it take so very very long for food. Ps your wait staff is being diverted to swamping or clearing tables and atleast ours needs extensive training to do the job to standards that were better prior to 2019 possibly. I recommended coming but really should have read my last review of 3 stars. Hope the whole chain isn’t following this trend because declining quality with longer wait times are qualities of closed door business. Ps ranch dressing should not be used to cover overcooked and burnt food. No need to reply to this review like last time that time should be used to train and focus on quality over quantity and decide if your a bad fast food restaurant or a family restaurant that needs to slow down for food quality. Allow servers paid training and hire buss people to keep the flow. I have paid for so many meals and reviewed many of them. I like giving good reviews when earned. Unfortunately that is becoming less common in commerce.

We went to Cracker Barrel here Foley,Al on Aug. 11. It was between 830 and 9 pm when we got there. Noah was our server and the most friendliest and helpful one we have ever had.

Delicious pancakes and we appreciate the gluten free options. The service was fantastic! We have had breakfast several times here during our vacation. The only reason for one star off is because the salt won’t come out of the salt shakers because “corporate won’t allow them to put rice in the shakers.” We mentioned it to the manager because we’ve noticed it every day at different tables and this was their response. They were very apologetic and nice about it. I’m hoping corporate may notice this review and consider changing the policy. Or at least put to-go containers of salt on the table.

Pulled up and found great parking. Parking lot is well laid out and spacious. Front porch of This Cracker Barrel restaurant is well stocked with wait outside seating after you check in. Wait time was under 20 minutes and they have a great text to ready system to notify of available tables. Once inside hostess showed us to our table and took our drink order.Menus are very informative and detailed. Large selection of main course dishes, ample selection of sides, and drinks. Food was prepared and brought out hot and fresh. Great Job!

We ate breakfast here on 8/4/2023. It’s a family tradition to stop here on the last day at gulf shores on the way home. This time it was AWFUL! the country ham smelled like rubber and was so tough we couldn’t eat it. (Cooked too long I assume) NOTHING was good. Not even the grits. Couldnt eat it. So disappointed. Looks like we will be changing our tradition. Worst meal at a cracker barrel we’ve ever had.
