We like to stop at the Cracker Barrel in Vero Beach as a break from the highway to and from Orlando. We have been here many times. Our most recent stop was for lunch and is typical of our experience. The store is always clean and inviting with well maintained rest rooms. We were seated right away for lunch and had the catfish and chick and dumplings meals. Our food was delicious. Our only negative critique is that the delicious biscuits seem to have shrunk. We thought we got the kiddie biscuit by mistake, but no, they are smaller now, which is unfortunate. Service was very polite and efficient. We will be back to this Cracker Barrel on our next trip to Orlando and hopefully Cracker Barrel goes back to the original size of their biscuit.

With this economy. I am looking for reasonable prices on food. Food is delicious!! I had to wait 20 minutes to be able to get a table, but it’s worth waiting. Great customer service. I ended up purchasing some items from the store at the entrance of the restaurant. I just loved the country style store.

Waiter named Frankalicious was great! The food was absolutely terrible! I ordered a burger and they can’t even cook the burger to the customers liking. Could’ve tasted way better! The corn muffins were very dry and they dried moistening it up by mixing it with butter. Which made it taste like cardboard with butter. The fries were very bland and tasted like cardboard. These cooks can’t cook. I don’t recommend going here unless you feel like eating cardboard with fat.

Food arrived quickly and as expected except my daughter’s fruit bowl never came and we were charged for it. I didn’t know that they now serve mimosas, that was a nice treat.

I wish I could give more stars, it’s difficult sometimes when giving ratings. While the food itself was good. I ordered the grilled chicken salad with no chicken on the menu it doesn’t list any other meats on the salad however I got crumble bacon. For someone that doesn’t eat meat obviously if I order a salad with no meat I don’t want meat. We were sat in a back corner of the restaurant with only four tables of people yet it took over 10 minutes just to get a glass of water. It took another 10 minutes or more to get a cup of old coffee and that was by another server. My son’s steak egg and hash brown dish he said was extremely cheesy but he ate it. I’m not sure if the server we had was new to explain her lack of attention. Breezed by our table twice not really stopping to see if there was anything else we needed just was casually walking by as she asked. If I were to recommend this particular Cracker Barrel I’d probably say go late at dinner time service might be better. Or if you’re a person of color maybe specify you don’t want to be put in the back corner of the restaurant where you’d be forgotten

We had a party of 6 and ended up having to wait on a Sunday afternoon. There weren’t a ton of people but it was steady. Our food took quite a while too. Everything was good though. They have a loaded sweet potato that is more sweet than potato but it’s still quite good. There is at least the shop in the front where you can kill time while waiting. There are also the rocking chairs out front for a relaxing sit after your meal. I’d recommend this location if you just want a bit of nostalgia, or if you’re craving some corn muffins or chicken and dumplings. Otherwise, there are probably better options out there.

I would love to give this place a -5 rating only they allowed it. We sat and waited for our food an hour and a half and when it came out it had all been sitting underneath the heat lamp for at least 30 minutes. There were five of us and no one had fresh food. What really makes me sad as the fact that they tried the fetus this food. I don’t recommend anybody come to this place. There needs to be a lot of training at this cracker barrel

Cracker Barrel is one of those places where you just have to go to get the nice southern fell and hospitality. Walking in first thing you get to explore the shop which reminds you for the general stores from the olden times. There’s a lot of candy, shirts and stuff, they even have a season section too.

Our waiter, Austin, really made this experience so great. Great guy, very attentive, super friendly. Food is great too at a decent price. We will be back often if we can get Austin every time.

Always a fun experience. The country store has unique items to give as gifts or keep for yourself. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The food is good and is reasonably priced. It’s my grandson’s favorite place to eat. Austin is an awesome server. He treats everyone like family. He has a great smile and personality to match. Another favorite server is Caleb. Both Austin and Caleb will take great care of you. The entire staff is pleasant and helpful and always welcoming.
