The food was amazing. My wife had the grandma sampler and I had the grilled catfish, the food was amazing. The restaurant is clean and service was great. Our server Aubrey did an amazing job and really worked hard to provide good service. The kitchen nailed it with the grilled spicy catfish. Reasons why I love this cracker barrel.

We’ve eaten here numerous times and always a great place to bring the family. The service was great. The food was a little lacking this time thought. Our waitress did inform us that the kitchen staff was low. The chicken and dumpling were watery. The trout was seasoned well. The tator tots with cheese and bacon was really good.

Has anyone else noticed that in the aftermath of Covid, Cracker Barrel never has a full complement of cooks and waitresses? We quit going there altogether a couple months ago because every time we tried to eat there, the restaurant was consistently half empty but the wait time was 45 minutes or longer due to insufficient staffing. The last time we did eat there the food wasn’t nearly as good as it has always been. Other sites in other cities are great. I’m just wondering if we’ll ever see our yummy Cracker Barrel back in operation.

Everything including our server Jen was great; but Jen was awesome!!!!We (my husband and I), were quite impressed with this young ladies,service. She was professional, attentive, pleasant, and smiled; she appreciates her job and at her age, not many teens show such enthusiasm. It was refreshing to see . The young man that greeted us and seated us and our cashier, a young lady were also kind and professional.

We showed up at around 8:00 with two people. I told us it would be 5 to 10 minutes before we could be seated. The dining room was nearly empty, see attached picture. We waited 8 minutes to be seated in an empty section.

Order was supposed to be ready for curbside at 630pm, 7pm came and order was still not brought out. Had to go into restaurant that was over crowded with customers who were waiting for pick up orders or waiting to be seated, waitress told me that there were no pickup orders ready. After finally getting my order and getting out of the crowd and to my car I noticed the pie I ordered was missing. Upon further inspection I noticed that OVER HALF of my order was missing and the food that I did receive was very disappointing. The half of the “grandmas sampler” I did receive looked as if was portioned for a child, the extra bacon that went with the blueberry pancakes was petrified, I mean the list goes on with how disappointing the food was let alone how cold it was. Not quite sure how there was no pick up orders ready, but I received cold food. When I went back in to get the rest of my order the waitress and other staff members helping me were extremely rude and annoyed as if I didn’t do my job correctly. I’m sorry to be “that” person and I completely understand having a bad day, being under staffed, stressed, whatever but when I order food for dinner for my family and have to wait forever, not receive the full order I paid for, get cold food and the staff is rude… no, I’m not alright with that. What a horrible experience.

Our Waitress, forgot to put in our order, Once we finally received our order. We asked for Silverware she gave us a set of 6. all wrapped up in one napkin. when we asked for condiments, We would have to ask repeatedly. I have always been the fan of Cracker Barrel, but after this visit, not so much . I’m not sure if the recipe has changed for the Hashbrown casserole, it was not good at all!!!
