Ah, cracker barrel, the one place where time seemed to stop and an odd Era! Walk in, make a reservation and head back outside to sit in one of a thousand rocking chairs, and pretend your and old guy/gal viewing out on your farm land. Play a banjo or not it’s your world. Finally, you’re called to your table where you meet a person with an apron with a certain level of stars (if you get one with 3 stars, you better tip good them folks are struggling!) The food is like being at grandma’s, sometimes you can taste the love that went into it, other times you must of done something wrong. After you wake from your food coma, held out to pay in the gift shop that has so many things you will get lost looking for the exit. It’s ok cause that’s the plan! Smell all the Yankee candles, buy up the candy, and don’t forget the drink on the vintage wall of a thousand soda I’ve never seen before. All in all, it’s a fun place to go eat… unless it’s Sunday after church service, then I would suggest you wait a bit.

Second time I’ve been here and my order was wrong. The waitress didn’t bring us stuff we asked for. Never apologized. We had to flag down another waitress for refills. When my food was brought out it was cold. She brought me another plate about 20 minutes later but my mom finished her plate way before me. Just not an overall good experience and I love cracker barrel so it broke my heart.

My family and I enjoyed our brunch at Cracker Barrel. Our waitress Ms.Shae was friendly, helpful, and an excellent part of our brunch experience. The food was yummy per usual, busy however the ambiance was nice. Enjoyed the fireplace and the lamps on our table.

The app said there was zero minute wait. So we stopped. The restaurant was half empty but we waited 30 minutes for a table and then an hour for our food. So we were there 90 minutes before our food was served. The server never removed garbage or empty dishes from the table. She did ask about drinks.

Went to dinner tonight and ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and a sweet potato with everything. The sweet potato was so small and dried up that the marshmallow was bigger than the sweet potato. The steak was fine but the mashed potatoes were so dry they flaked apart. The young waitress tried to get the manager to take something off but he wouldn’t budge. She asked him to come to the table but he wouldn’t do that either. Usually, I go for breakfast and it is always good with the staff doing a great job, but tonight’s manager and whoever cooked the food were absolutely horrible. If I go back, it will only be for breakfast. If I could give a zero for tonight, I would.

Was told by Matthew with 2 stars at 8pm that none of the waitresses wanted to wait on us because it was too close to closing….at 9pm. Mind you they were still taking smaller tables. I have been a server before and we seated people at the closing time…because that’s good service. They were walking around talking about us and laughing. I’m extremely disappointed in this because we always come to Cracker Barrel.

Our server, J YUJEONG was superb! His personality, smile and customer service skills were off the chain! He checked on us from time to time, and topped off our beverages. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, biscuits and broccoli were delicious! We will be back!

This is a great place for an inexpensive meal that manages to be just wonderful for a decent price. You know what to expect here. Comfort food. There is usually a wait and this time we waited about 20 minutes. The sausage Patty in my sunrise sampler was way too peppery. Everything else was great. The country store is fun.
