We’re out of town from Sarasota for the day and wanted something yummy to eat. I’m not a seafood fan, but I still enjoyed this place! I got the mac n cheese, potatoes, chicken, rice, and corn. The corn was my favorite thing with the spicy butter. I also think the rice was the best I’ve ever had. My other half got the crab dinner. He said the crab was hard to get out of the shell, but he liked it still. SO MUCH FLAVOR in everything. The people that work there are super nice, too.

My wife and I ordered shrimp and oxtails. She got (6) shrimp for $22 and I got (5) oxtails (size varied from medium to small for $28. Kind of pricey for amount and the taste didn’t knock my socks off. Won’t be headed back again…sorry

Every time I come, the food is VERY flavourful! I had the 12 Jumbo Shrimp with potatoes, corn, a boiled egg, and a side of seafood rice and mac n cheese. I got the lemon garlic mild flavor with a touch of spicy. You’ll pay a little more than expected, but it’s worth supporting Chef Hawkins. She’s been grinding for a minute out of her residence, and now she has an established business! Congrats! I’m be back on my next cheat day!
