You know it’s amazing when you see it jam packed with locals!!! I’m a huge foodie and if you are visiting Universal Studios I highly recommend this place for dinner afterwards. Worth the 15min+ drive. Seafood is very fresh and the spices they use are so unique and flavourful for all levels of heat. Service is amazing and they do a good job with keeping the wait to a minimum. So worth the value! They have another one in Chicago but sooo happy they came over to the Westcoast! A hidden gem!

I tried it for the first time and it was delicious. It’s pretty similar to the B.C. in Burbank but closer and a tad cheaper. Service was fast and the person was really nice. I went during lunch and it wasn’t busy, which was a plus. I didn’t quite enjoy the garlic bread, it wasn’t cooked enough for me, but everything else was delicious. The cajun spice (mild) was really good with just a bit of spice.

This restaurant is fairly new, it’s been in business for about a year now and it does match in flavor from other places. I will say that their market price doesn’t beat other places.

This was quite disappointing. The place is very nice and old time and the serving crew are young and hip, but they are NOT the issue. At issue is the prices for what it is disproportion. We had Calamari appetizers at $20 for 2. They were frozen Calamari from Sam’s or Costco or whatever box store you can think of. They were not that good. My son had chicken tenders, again frozen tenders warmed over so Ok but not for $11 with some frozen fries that had way too much season salt on them in order to be Cajun fries. My wife ordered fried lobster at market value and this was tasty but only because lobster in butter is normally tasty. No seasoning to speak of so if you want to taste plain lobster, go for it. This plate came with garlic toast which was again warmed over Sam’s club Texas toast. So, maybe our expectations were too high, but the best part of this place was our server even though she kept saying “not a problem” as a response to thank you. Unfortunately it is once and done at this local eatery.

2 hour metered street parking available close-by. They were out of Dungenous Crab so I went with king crab legs. Tasty but messy and a lot of work to crack it open. Was a little overcooked, as the meat did not slide out whole when cracked. Nice atmosphere with industrial looking decor. Bright open space with lots of light. Sold by the pound. A little pricey especially because I was alone on this occasion. Would have been better if I was sharing it with someone.

Honestly really wanted to like this place, I thought ok I’ll spend a little more to get something really good as it’s my first time. I ordered the 1/2 lb sizzling shrimp and garlic bread with a beer. I liked how they brought it to the table in a sizzling skillet, very cool. I was however very disappointed in the amount of shrimp I got, I literally got 10 small/medium sized shrimp for 15 dollars. I ate them in like 2 minutes and was really hungry after. The girlfriend got some crawfish in a bag that literally had nearly no meat (I realize thats just the nature of the crawfish). We chit chat a bit and I realize they didnt bring my garlic bread, so I call the waitress and explain, she brought out the bread rather quickly. I am again disappointed by the fact that I got freezer section garlic bread from the grocery store. The bill ran to nearly 60 dollars for one beer for me and a snack for each of us. Really poor value for the money in my opinion. We walked to Chipotle after to satisfy our hunger.
