Amazing soul food north of Mobile. Hot bar was fully stocked if anything you could want. Service is quickly and courteous. Plates are a great price, we fed a very hungry man, a very pregnant lady, and a growing 7 year old for under $20. The bathrooms and dining area was very clean. This place is amazing.

First yes, I ate both plates!! Amazing soul food and bbq. I didn’t expect this spot to be really good at both. The fried crab claws were new to me and absolutely yummy. The seafood platter was cooked fresh and require a small wait. The ribs and side came right up! The side which often get neglected at some bbq spot were on point. Folks soul food and seafood at its best!!

I enjoyed the food. Their peach cobbler is very good. My oxtail was delicious. It’s the attitude of some of his servers. I felt so bad after my encounter with two of the serves. Some people don’t know how they can affect a business because of how they treat the customers.

Was extremely disappointed! The collard greens I ordered had big chunks of okra in it. I also ordered a shrimp poboy that had a really weird smell and the shrimp were dried up and hard. I ordered my food right at lunch time so idk where old food came from smh this was supposed to be my birthday soulfood meal

It was so good. I got the meatloaf mashed potatoes with collards. Have great flavors. The dessert was peach cobbler, maybe the best I’ve ever had.

The line moves quick and the cashier was super friendly. The dressing was amazing. The kookaid was perfect!! I didn’t enjoy the smothered pork chop as much as I thought I would. The gravy was a little watery . The yams could’ve had better texture.

I loved it.❤ Especially the cornbread. The baked chicken was a great break from the fast food around town. Ms. Eleanor (tiny) has a beautiful smile and a pleasant spirit. She lights the place up. Thanks for being in the neighborhood with nutritious food.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. Passing through on our way to Jacksonville, Fl from Denver, Co this was the first real meal we had in 3 days since leaving CO and boy was it deeelicious It was amazing seeing the three generations of Browns! What a wonderful experience…..that did not disappoint.

Food is well seasoned and well prepared. I’ve had the chitterling dinner, BBQ rib dinner and pork chop dinner along with collards, yams, cobbler and cornbread. All excellent. Have dined in and done take out.
