Quesadilla de Berria was delicious! DIL enjoyed the tacos. We shared a churro, which was yummy- creme-filled, drizzled with a raspberry sauce, I believe. Order it!! Great, friendly service.

Some of the best chips and salsa you will be able to find. The steak fajitas were perfect and enough to split with my wife after gorging on the chips and salsa. Great drink selections and this may be one of the cheapest date spots you will find for the quality of the food and drinks. Would absolutely go back again.

This place we stopped in for lunch. I didn’t care for tex mex too well..until I visited here. Got the birria taco lunch special and it was so very wonderful. The Miguel dip…omg what insanity of mouthwatering delisciousnesses..and the Chile relleno..lunch is on point. Dinner at a later time not so great food review. They left out something in the birria taco and the meat wasn’t very flavorful and I know my chili rellenos..tasted and smelled like someone in the back spilled tequila on it..I have endstage liver disease so alcohol is off limits. My body only smells death with that. So the dinner was a flop. And they were playing heavy metal music loudly. Lunch though..I’ll definitely go back for the lunch crews performance.

The best Mexican in Charleston, hands down. Atmosphere is chill and friendly. Located in the easiest part of town. A must-visit.

The best Mexican food I’ve had. I’ve lived in Hispanic neighborhoods in Chicago and this place is way better than the Mexican places I frequented there. I always joked with my coworkers in Chicago that WV has better Mexican restaurants, but this place certainly makes it true. Very fresh food all around. Fresh tortillas, fresh chips, fresh salsa, fresh salad, fresh beans and rice, fresh meat and veggies. The margaritas (especially with salt) are divine. Excellent service. Top-notch atmosphere. My only complaint is that the pico is unsalted, but that’s easily fixed with a salt shaker. I will be back many times in the near future.

Went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it so much I went back last week. The atmosphere is great with a small, but action-packed atmosphere adorned with unique and exciting decorations and lighting. Being on Capitol Street adds to the allure as you can swing by Taylor books or Ellen’s Ice Cream afterwards. The service was great and I was even more impressed with the service given the place was slammed. Our server made great recommendations and I went with the street corn tacos. The taste was superb and the corn kernels gave the taco a sweet “pop” with every bite. We tried a couple of margaritas and the taste was perfect. Stop by here for lunch or dinner for an exciting atmosphere with great service and even better food.

We started out with the sweet chili shrimp which was so good. I got a birrira quesadilla and my boyfriend got enchiladas and we were both very happy. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was very laid back.
