The food and service was excellent. Everything is homemade and the prices are very reasonable. The steaks were cooked superbly.

On our way back to Salt Lake City we we’re hungry and the only place that sounded good was Cowboy Kitchen. To our surprise the food was fantastic and we met some locals that gave us a history lesson. I stoked the fire while socializing.

This restaurant is a diamond in the desert. Looking for a place to eat while town, do not skip this restaurant. Food was delicious and the portions are big and very affordable. The service received by the waitress was excellent. It may not look like a five Star restaurant like the big cities from the outside, but it’s definitely a place to go. Steak was juicy and delicious. We were a group of 9 and they were able to accommodate our group and feed us pretty quickly.

Some old style tavern with great cooked western food. Was a little more on the expensive side, but there was so much food! And they served full multiple course meal, with fresh baked bread, a soup and a salad, as well as your main meal. It was awesome and wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again on my way through.

The food here is the absolute best. I highly recommend the marinated steak, the sauce on it is amazing and it is huge! Only thing I don’t like about this restaurant is how expensive meals are per person but other than that it’s amazing!

We stayed the night at a local rv park while passing through on our way to Salt Lake City. This place was recommended to us so we gave it a try. Excellent food and service. The home made bread and soup was delicious. The burgers were brilliant and portion sizes were huge. Would highly recommend this place if you are in town.

I’d expect this kind of taste in a big city and a fancy place. Fantastic food. Great prices. Homemade pasta- homemade bread for your entrance. Almost everything is made in house AND- they allergy friendly. I wish I lived closer. DONT MISS THIS!!

The 24oz sirloin appeared to 24oz AFTER cooking, it was HUGE. a PERFECT medium cook as ordered… buttery soft, with the perfect char on it. The baked potato was luke warm, the salad was tasty, the soup was hearty an home made… and the little load of break was fresh, hot an served with an in house garlic butter. And the Cherry Coke was perfect. The food is what matters… my server was a kind woman who legitimately wanted all patrons to have a good dining experience. Every time I come to, or through Price UT, i will dash over to the Cowboy Kitchen. Mad props to the hospital employees who all agreed they have the best steak around ❤

Stumbled across a little place called Wellington on a road trip across the USA – Cowboy kitchen was recommended to us from a local, so we gave it a go. They did not disappoint! Comfy chairs to start, if a little worn. A nice quick service with one of the best most flavoursome soups I’ve ever had and a nice warm loaf brought out to accompany it. The steak fingers I had to start were perfectly cooked and my main of a medium rare burger was cooked to perfection. Honestly, if you find yourself stopping nearby or even just passing through Wellington, this place is worth your time to stop and eat. Thanks to all at cowboy kitchen. As for portion size, you won’t be disappointed.

Food deserves a 5, but the service is so slow (1 hour + wait) and the servers are often inattentive…(though it might be a symptom of Covid and struggling with finding enough employees). Portions are SO big and the prices are reasonable. Most everything is homemade to some degree, which is great. We only come here about once a year, but with the long wait and low energy, that’s enough.
