This is a fun downtown bar and grill with a western and Dakota vibe. I love going here for lunch when I’m downtown Fargo. The service was as usual very personable and prompt, friendly too. I had a taco wrap and it more than exceeded my expectations with very fresh ingredients and a soft yummy tortilla. I would have liked better salsa though. Overall, I really like this place and sitting at outside patio tables nice views of the Fargo Depot and Broadway. However one patio umbrella did blow off a table they may want sturdier table umbrellas for Fargo winds.

We were there for over two hours, mostly waiting for food, our checks, and to pay. The restaurant was not super busy, and there seemed to be a good number of staff.

Pretty cool place. Cowboy theme, obviously. I didn’t order any food so I can’t attest to it but the drinks were good, albeit served in plastic cups like at baseball games. They will put a lot of ice in your cocktail. A DJ playing live music was really cool to see in downtown Fargo though. The aperol spritz and gin & tonic were both pretty good, about how you would expect them to be. There was a man dealing cards and slot machines. There were tables when we arrived but when we left there was a huge line out the door. It’s a good place to go overall.

Took quite awhile to be served. Forgot my fries and was a nice long tasty looking hair on my buddys chicken wings. Also waitress was nowhere to be found when we wanted to pay and leave. Will not be back..

Update after today’s visit: We stopped for lunch today and can say that the food has improved dramatically since the opening last Fall. We ordered multiple meals and all were prepared well and served hot. On the flip side, the fish tacos and chicken wrap seemed light on the meat / protein portion and all of the dishes were on the bland side for our tastes (we like some spice). The spicy breaded cauliflower appetizer was the exception…it had a nice peppery flavor and we all really enjoyed it! We all agreed that the best part of the meal was what came last…the Truffle dessert, as it was delicious! A hard shell of delicious chocolate over chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on the side. You definitely will want to end your meal with this treat!

I have been to this bar several times and think it is a well put together franchise that has good food and a good setup; however, the last time I was there I felt unsafe. My group got threatened in the bathroom aggressively by two men, and when we approached the long haired male bouncer he told us that it wasn’t serious enough when we feared for our safety because the man in the bathroom had a construction knife and said he’d see us outside. My question then would be what is serious enough? I have loved their other locations and loved every other experience there, but I felt like that was pretty ridiculous.

Oh my. I just had the best service in my life here. In fact, I owe the rest of my life to this restaurant, and specifically Jennifer. It was a typical weekday night. But I had no idea that the course of my life would be changed forever. It started off saddling up to the bar. I ordered a drink and appetizer. (The tots are amazing.)Jennifer was friendly. I felt we might even had some unspoken chemistry but I decided to play it cool. As I enjoyed my drink, another guy came and sat at the bar. The mood changed instantly. Jennifer was still friendly but it wasn’t genuine. The guy was hitting on her and it wasn’t even subtle. If I owned the place I would have kicked him out but she seemed to play it off. I watched her walk down and help other customers at the end of the bar and then heard this man speak the most unspeakable comments. He was drunk. I don’t think that would have changed the things he muttered though. When she returned to our end of the bar he started up again. I decided that I couldn’t take it any more. I told him to watch his mouth. We had some words. He got loud and told me he wanted to take it outside. He was so drunk it wouldn’t have been an issue putting him in his place. He couldn’t stand straight. I told him he didn’t want me to come outside. We had some more words. He insisted. And I started to get up and see this to it’s finish. At this moment, Jennifer stepped in. She told him this was silly. That she liked him and she’d comp his drink and told him it was time to go. She said she’d handle her brother and that he shouldn’t treat her family that way. I was confused until I realized I was the “brother”. She neutralized the situation and sent him on his way. Once he left, I told her I could have handled it. She whispered to me that he had a gun in his waistband. Any man can say they could have handled it anyway, but I’m not so sure. Nothing is certain. Jennifer saved my life. I’ll be back when I come to Fargo again.

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is very good and the prices are very affordable. They don’t price gouge. Located right by the railroad tracks. It was so cool cuz I saw my buddy an engineer for BNSF where I retired from came by with the train he was headed to Grand Forks. That was kind of cool seeing him up there and me on the ground knowing I don’t have to work anymore cuz I retired

In perosn Service is fast, food is pretty good. Drinks are a little more expensive then other places downtown but it’s nice to be able to spread out between the 2 floors and not feel like everyone is just crowed and loud in 1 room.
