First time stopping by for lunch a cozy place right in your face, but you must pay attention. Everything was great, and the food was flavorful . I had mac and cheese cabbage corn bread, purple hull peas, meat loaf, and strawberry cake. this was the lunch special, and you get your money worth YUMMY

Anyone who thinks Batesville doesn’t have any great locally-owned & operated restaurants is definitely mistaken! We’ve eaten in this little gem for years (and have had lots catered from here, too) — the food is always fabulous, the service is great, and the atmosphere is awesome! Most days of the week, there’s a packed house for lunch, but dining is available outdoors, too. When the weather is good, the patio seating is wonderful, too —- beautiful landscaping and lovely decor inside and out! 5 STAR!

Excellent service, quaint converted home with outside seating as well. Wonderful place to have lunch in a relaxed environment. Egg and olive sandwich was fantastic, served with two huge slices of tomato, fruit and chips.

Food and atmosphere was good, service was good. I will recommend this place. The only reason i gave a 4 star was because our table and chairs were uncomfortable. But that may of been because we had a lagre group. I will return.
