It was our first time dining here today and we had an excellent experience! We came for lunch on a Sunday at opening and there was no wait. The vibes are very Texas, with a mix of funky, modern and old western decor. There’s a bar up front but the restaurant has a very family-friendly feel. Our waiter was extremely nice and the food came super quick, less than 10 minutes after we ordered! We tried the homemade bread with the honey butter for an appetizer, and it was delicious! I order the brisket tacos and they were so good and filling! Everyone else at our table enjoyed their meals as well. We were seated with a view of the river, which was lovely! My kids enjoyed feeding the turtles and catfish on the boardwalk after lunch. This is definitely a great restaurant to bring someone from out of town who is visiting Texas for the first time!

Not the best Texas BBQ ever but certainly the most scenic place to dine in town. We sat in the A/C, indoors, on a 105-degree day and could happily overlook Bull Creek outside. Yes, guys were out fishing and a family was swimming. Felt so much like a line had been drawn between the busy city and our fun meal. They have lots of combo platters, family-style dining options etc and portions are large. We ordered one value Senior Special, great if you only want one meat. Our BBQ connoisseur friends said their pork ribs, huge beef ribs and chicken were the best items. Tried the sausage too and it was ok. Delicious Cole slaw and potato salad, not a baked bean fan in any case. Do order the warm, house made bread with honey butter. They had BBQ veggies but I doubt any vegetarian would be happy here. Lastly, the Peach cobbler with Blue Bell vanilla is a nice way to share a big finale.

This place never disappoints! County line does not have long lines or crazy pricing like other BBQ places, but the taste is not inferior to anyone else. Whenever my friends visit Austin, I always take them here and order the 5 meat combo plate. The beef ribs are fantastic, and I love their brisket the most (go for the fatty parts)! The pork ribs are ok (I have a high expectation for ribs as someone who’s lived in St. Louis for quite a while). It’s really nice to also take a stroll after a meal along the river banks and watch the turtles.

Beautiful place with 6 atmosphere. Everything we tried was excellent. I almost rated the service at 4 stars, but after thinking about it, the wait staff was fast, but were understaffed. There were a couple of times I wondered were our waitress was, then I would see her with a loaded down tray of drinks. And once delivered, she came straight to us. Considering the issues in Austin metro with restaurant staffing, I think they did an excellent job.

First time coming to County Line and it was surprisingly really good. I was pleasantly surprised of the portions they serve for the price. I will be going back when I need a BBQ fix.

First time going to this restaurant located at the North West area of Austin. The area is beautiful surrounded by beautiful homes and a lake. Our server Elizabeth sweet and attentive to our needs, she got 5 stars from me, took our orders that were beef ribs with bake potatoes, Cole slabs , beans , chicken and Chile con queso for appetizer that was quite good. It was my Birthday yesterday and was so excited to have BBQ that for illness couldn’t have for months. I came from another town, took us 4 hours to get there, then there was no special bread , no ketchup, no mineral or sparkling water, and the most important thing The Food wasn’t that great and expensive for my family that paid for it. My son David is a chef that cater great events in Austin for major entertainers and sports stars, and he wasn’t impressed either. So you have a beautiful restaurant and an even more beautiful location but not great cooking. Please check my photos. My order of Beef Rib were burned with stuffed potatoes and cole slaw.

What a beautiful place for lunch outside! Everytime we eat out on this patio, I am amazed by the views. Our favorite is the marbled brisket! I like it in the stuffed potato and my husband loves it plain or in a sandwich.

The atmosphere is top notch. The views are amazing and the restaurant as a whole does a great job shuffling people in and out. Unfortunately, our server was overwhelmed with our large party and the service suffered. The food was good for the most part but the meats were a little dry for my taste even after asking for extra moist brisket.
