We decided to try Country Smokehouse today for dinner. We were greeted by Tracey, super sweet lady!! They had $10.99 all you can eat. Or $8.99 one time thru. We got ours to go, so had to go see Savannah to get our plates. They had a nice variety. Rolls, 3 kinds of pulled pork(ketchup based,mustard based, or spicy ketchup based) rice and hash(is DELICIOUS!!), SAUSAGE, fried chicken, greenbeans,corn on cob, corn with tomatoes, collard greens,mac and cheese, beans and a couple of other things I cant remember. You also get a dessert choice with your dinner. Today it was pound cake, banana pudding or coconut pie. Friendly environment, clean, great price. Will definitely be returning and spreading the word. The food is pretty good. The mac and cheese is probably the best ove had. Only gripe is that this guy sits down and blares his phone watching YouTube videos for an hour. Ate my meal listening to profanity and arguing. I told the staff but nothing changed

Went for lunch on a Friday, the BBQ was delicious. The service was excellent, the owner was very attentive. Took my wife and son one Sunday, it was our first time stopping by. We arrived a couple hours before closing, I think it was a Sunday. We walked in, the lady told us we could eat for the kids price. It was because half the food on the bar was gone, and they had no rolls either. The bar was practically empty, it wasn’t a great first impression. With that being said the second time was a charm. I will go back again for a third.

AWESOME!!!! The best smoked BBQ ever. They offer mustard, ketchup, and vinegar sauces. They offer other meat choices, fried chicken on Thursday, fish on Friday, smoked sausage and smoked pork chops on Saturday, and ribs on Sunday. Variety of sides all country cooked from cabbage, collards, green beans, baked beans, black eye peas, sweet potatoes, fried okra and much more. Dessert comes with the meal and there is a nice variety. All homemade. The coconut pie is fantastic. It is so good we had to purchase a whole pie. The staff is very friendly and treat you like family. It is very clean. Has handicapped parking within the ample parking area. It is handicapped accessible entry and seating. We eat there at least once a week. Worth the drive.

Super pleased. Owners were extra nice (even gave me a tour of the pits) as were all staff, very familyish atmosphere. Great sweet tea, pulled pork, sauces, sausage, beans, bread. Not trendy, but who wants that anyway in a country BBQ joint? Only gripe was mac n cheese needs some work, but otherwise, I’m super pleased I found this place and will come back regularly.

Today was our first time eating here. We actually called in a carry out order. The food is exceptional. The customer service is beyond exceptional. Can’t wait to go in and actually sit down and experience the whole buffet and staff experience. Looking forward to the next time!!

Went there on a Saturday and it was pit day. Smoked pork and chicken. Awesome. By far the best buffet we have had around Columbia so far and we have had a few. Great smoke flavor. 4 choices of pork. Very friendly staff and it was a bonus that they are Gamecock fans.

The $11 all you can eat is amazing. They had three different types of pulled pork and four types of BQ sauces that taste amazing mixed together. Then they had some really good pinto beans and baked beans, and some Mac and cheese stuff that was pretty good. And at the end they brought out this coconut pie that was THE BEST!!!!

Country Smokehouse has a great little buffet. Now that you can go back for all you can eat when you buy a large plate is an even better value. The macaroni and cheese is very cheesy and tasty. The hash and rice isn’t too spicy so it’s just right. The pulled pork is offered with and without sauce plus you can pick from 2 sauced varieties. The vegetables are seasoned so no salt or extra seasonings are necessary.This is the place to go if you are really, really hungry. The sweet tea is also good. I love the friendly staff too. Wayne and Tracey are always courteous. They also have some items available for purchase such as “general store or country store” type things – old signs, some unique earrings, etc. This place is worth a visit.
