This is such a wonderful family owned restaurant. The owners are wonderful and take great care of their customers. The food is home cooked. Nothing fancy, just old-fashioned, simple good cooking. The place is decorated in a very cute country scheme (its really relaxing and special). This place is worth a sit down simply because if the wait staff. They are great. Don’t expect fancy, but you will be full and leave happy.

This place is overpriced and does not know how to take care of locals. Had an excellent meal here today after getting apples at Lone Oak Orchard a few miles away. I highly recommend eating here. They also bake bread, donuts and pies as well.

The owner is so sweet and kind! She really cares about this place and the people that come in the enjoy her food. Her staff are equally sweet and love chatting with customers. The food is super good, their menu is full of delicious, hearty meals. Can’t wait for them to reopen!

They are definitely doing the best they can with a horrible situation. I sincerely hope local folks show up so they can continue to “be there for us”. Yup. We NEED this little slice of humanity. So we can reconnect with our neighbors and have bonding time. Food is perfect. Menu selection will build as time open builds. Oh, customers, remember to fully close the outer door as you enter and exit. Michigan’s seasonal heaving continues to cause annoying heat containment issues.
