Okay, I need to review this meal i just ate, March 29, 2023 10:00 AM. Over a decade, I grew so disgusted with Country Pride, I just stopped going. Not this one in particular, the chain as a whole. Disappointment after disappointment became a deal breaker. I haven’t been to one since before the pandemic. Then, today, out of necessity, I came in to DeMotte restaurant, and it’s mostly empty, but I’ll be damned if they didn’t serve me the best Country Fried Steak breakfast I’ve ever had. An expensive breakfast but worth the money. If they could duplicate the standard I just experienced consistently, this would stay busy. So I’m trying to get the word out. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Quick, friendly service! My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good. Lots of choices on the buffet. Love the atmosphere of the place. Especially the fireplace! Very welcoming.

I have been to many breakfast places, but this one had one great deal for their steak and eggs meal. It was so great that I ate it before I was even able to snap a picture of the meal! It was priced just right, portion could have been a little more but it was still a filling meal!

Restaurant closed Friday and Saturday!?! And they wonder why there is a driver shortage. Nice big lot, I’d rather take a dump out side in the parking lot then waste my money in a place that blatantly disregards the only people that keep it open, the truckdrivers.
